I went to school in that region and can say that the reason he was stoned to death most probably had nothing to do with his caste, but in all likelihood some other reason and now the media is sensationalizing the issue.

One community wanted one statue of a freedom fighter to be erected other wanted their own leaders monument to continue. They clashed and violence erupted. Whoever commited violence should be punished. Clashes between communities is not something unheard of in India.

Where is the youth brigade trying to go and educate those people who threw the stones?? Oh wait, they are doing more important things like educating young girls who don't want to marry them

so shocking!!! it still baffles me how people would judge someone just because of there caste, let alone want to kill them?????? Surely we are all gods children?if god doesnt judge us as our creator how dare we judge others!! such incidents are sickening and portray india in a very poor light!!!
