Why offer an apology if you have not done anything wrong? :dontknow: I wonder why the Aussie journalists said "urinating" ONLY. They could have mentioned a 100 other things like - stripping, a** licking etc. etc. but they stuck to urination out of the blue. Sure - no conclusive proof is offered about urination but we all know where this is heading.

cause they probably saw a stream which could very well have been beer being thrown about... thats for one. The apology could have been for a lot of things. For one scuffing up the pitch and making the groundsman job harder. Surrey themselves need it for their county games to come. There were a lot of Surrey fans on twitter who did not appreciate their pitch being danced upon. They probably went through the barriers the groundsman would have around the playing area

And on the issue of culture. Culture need not always be positive. Culture is usually something which happens a lot at every level of society. It could be positive or negative. Goto any major town centre in England at midnight and there are always groups of people who have had way too much alcohol and are either passed out or pissing themselves or staggering about the street.. Most of the time the police and support officers escort the people home or provide medical assistance. Yes its a nuisance and will be condemned by most (even those who were the ones falling down) yet its commonplace enough for people not to go over the top singling out what the English cricket team have done (assuming they have indeed done it).

These guys are supposed to be role models... English cricket prides itself of gentlemanly behavior and tradition. No matter how much one tries to wish away this loutish (yes, those who get drunk and pi$$ around in city centers are called as louts) behavior, it'll be a one off, shameful event English cricket has to live with.
