Crookbond Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 tell me how and also will i get future updates? :D come on tell me quickly :P You need to search on the Internet for something called "iOS Gold Master". It is made available to iOS developers a week before its over the air release and is more or less the same version which would be available on September 18. You can get the GM on torrents if you are not a developer. I haven't installed it on my iPhone though and I wouldn't update to iOS7 unless all apps/fixes are done - this would be around 3-4 months after release. http://techcrunch.com/2013/09/10/apple-releases-gold-master-version-of-ios-7-to-developers/

Clarke Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 This may be fixed. Please tell me your iOS version. In addition' date=' please tell me where you bought it from (India/US). If you did NOT buy it online, please enter your serial number here - [url']https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do and post the screenshot. In case it says, it CAN NOT find your serial number - do not proceed or go on any other setting! Just post the screenshot here. Any other information you can give me like till when it was working properly, what apps did you install after it started going rogue etc. can be very helpful. It reckon the OS was 6.1.x. It was purchased in USA online. Valid purchase date, telephone support as well as repairs coverage are expired. It was working fine a couple of times after I installed a few free apps like world atlas. I had removed all those apps as well but that didn't help, hence tried the restore which is usually stuck at activation, activation server temporarily unavailable all the time :/

Ok here's something interesting: I took the bugger out of its shell ([ame=http://www.amazon.com/Slim-iPad-case-Devicewear-Magnetic/dp/B007PA1K84/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1379083704&sr=8-1&keywords=Slim+iPad+3+case%3A+The+Ridge+by+Devicewear]Amazon.com: Slim iPad case: The Ridge by Devicewear - Black Vegan Leather Magnetic iPad 2/3/4 Case with Six Position Flip Stand: Computers & Accessories[/ame]) to get a hold of its serial number and this time I was able to go through the activation and it hasn't rebooted itself so far. One difference I notice is it feels quite hot. It might have been rebooting itself because of the temperature :hmmm:

Clarke Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Good! Can you tell me what apps you're actively using? Be as specific as possible. Media players; used to be Azul earlier, occasionally some real racing or a strategy game.
vvvslaxman Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Restart the Ipad twice :finger: This is also a neat solution
Crookbond Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Media players; used to be Azul earlier' date=' occasionally some real racing or a strategy game.[/quote'] VLC for iOS has been released - I would recommend it. If the restart problem happens again, comment here.
