There is a huge crowd of tablets in the market at the moment. My budget is limited to 45000, which I think should be more than enough for a tablet. No Apple products please.

Samsung galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition. Launching before Diwali.
Hmmm, that sounds interesting. I might want to buy one right now though. It's needed now.

Define the purpose dk, iPad is cool, I got the 16GB A6X for 25k last Christmas. Also got a 7" Nexus for my cousin, 15k. I guess 45k is too much for a tab.

A great deal of reading. Some editing, so I will need bluetooth keyboard. Emailing, lot of video and audio. General surfing, no social media. Some gaming for timepass. And other general use like calendar, tasks etc.

Asus ME400CL-1A057W VivoTab. Price is around 40k. This one doubles as laptop. I have a first gen ipad in home (technically my dad bought it, and never touched it after 2 weeks) , as it's only use now is for my mom to play fruitninja. Android is even worse. Some ppl I know regret buying ipad/android tabs.

7 inch tablets are good for reading novels. If you want to read any bigger documents without moving around too much you will have to buy a 10 inch tablet. Get something with a high pixel count. The best thing to do would be to visit some stores and open the type of documents you would read most often and compare different tablets side by side. Find out which one is more easier on your eyes and which one is easier to move about and edit. That would be the best test.

Has googled sorted out its issues with deal pixels and other qualities when it comes to Nexus 7? I recall a couple of months ago many new users experienced difficulties. Nexus 7 is the best bang for your buck. Many apps and OS is good too. P.S. I still have the Blackberry Playbook which I bought over a year ago. Yeah it has less apps ( no skype, netflix), and Blackberry has stopped supporting it( even though they released an update just yesterday), but it's enough for my needs. Browsing without turning on the laptop/desktop on. It has a good multitasking OS. The apps I need. Awesome speakers. HDMI and a USB. Perfect for my needs. Oh and it's cheap too. 64GB for 150-200 USD, sign me up any day.
