Hiro Nakamura Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 IM Operative Afzal Usmani Escapes Was to be produced at MCOCA Court today. Accused in 2008 Gujarat Blast Case.
The Outsider Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 ^^ or secular govt ? And under which government was he caught, not only him but Tunda, Bhatkal, Jundal? Secular or fundoo? :dontknow:
kubrickian Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Embarrassing, shameful and shows the incompetence and lack of professionalism of police.
Desi Cartman Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Thanks to supreme court ruling more than a decade ago, it is illegal to handcuff someone under trial. Cant really blame the cops when someone is supposed to hold hands at all times. In all the cases where a person arrested by police is produced before the Magistrate and remanded to judicial or non-judicial custody - is given by the Magistrate the person concerned shall not be handcuffed unless special orders in that respect are obtained from the Magistrate at the time of the grant of the remand. When the police arrests a person in execution of a warrant of arrest obtained from a Magistrate, the person so arrested shall not be handcuffed unless the police has also obtained Nders from the Magistrate for the handcuffing of the person to be so arrested.
gattaca Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 And under which government was he caught' date=' not only him but Tunda, Bhatkal, Jundal? Secular or fundoo? :dontknow:[/quote'] so if you take praise for catching them. They should take blame for letting them go. Does is it make sense to you ?
The Outsider Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 so if you take praise for catching them. They should take blame for letting them go. Does is it make sense to you ? Where are your posts praising the government for the capture of Tunda, Bhatkal, and Jundal?
gattaca Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Where are your posts praising the government for the capture of Tunda' date=' Bhatkal, and Jundal? [/quote'] Its not me you should look at mr home minister statement.
The Outsider Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Its not me you should look at mr home minister statement. Why not you? The Home Minister is not posting on ICF - you are, criticizing the government for this criminal having run away. In the interest of fairness, I am asking you of your posts praising the government for the capture of even more important terrorists.
randomGuy Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Thanks to supreme court ruling more than a decade ago' date=' it is illegal to handcuff someone under trial.[b'] Cant really blame the cops when someone is supposed to hold hands at all times. No, blame is their's solely. cant give this excuse. cops also have weapons with them, they simply weren't attentive.
Desi Cartman Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 No' date=' blame is their's solely. cant give this excuse. cops also have weapons with them, they simply weren't attentive.[/quote'] Yes but it's so much easier for someone to escape when not wearing handcuffs. I don't even understand the logic of not putting handcuffs on them, oh and they let a terrorist go pp alone lol. Also, he went to the toilet at 130 and police realized that he was missing at 330. That's a 2 hour gap. Maybe someone was bribed for this

Like 3 policemen for 1 criminal, they would have to be inattentive or corrupt to let them escape I guess.

The Outsider Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Arresting them is praiseworthy but Arresting all of them while elections are near doesn't smell fishy at all to me. The only thing which smells fishy here are your double standards - being unable to produce a single post praising the government for capturing dreaded terrorists and blaming them for the escape of one.

There is no limit to stupidity.
seedhi Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 The only thing which smells fishy here are your double standards - being unable to produce a single post praising the government for capturing dreaded terrorists and blaming them for the escape of one.How is this double standard ? It would be double standard when a poster criticizes one government for a terrorist's escape while refusing to criticize a different government for letting a terrorist escape. Double standards pertain to different reactions to the same event and not different reactions to different events.

Read the thread - he implied that it was the "secular" designs of the government which let him off. I asked him about why this "secular" nature was not in play when this guy and several other IM operatives were captured under this government.
