gaurav92 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 a) Absolutely zero sympathy for Watson; he sledges everyone everywhere. Picks fights like an idiot all the time. b) Stupid, immature and juvenile of Dhawan. Sledging should be done smartly and not gracelessly as if he's playing gully cricket. He's representing his nation and millions are watching him. :dito:

Faking meekness for the sake of it.
Karan114 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Roflol at the support Dhawan is getting here for his absolutely pathetic and third rate behavior. If one of the Aussies had mocked one our cricketing Gods, Twitter and messageboards would be full of rants against how racist the Aussies are blah blah. Course the fact that the Indian team has Virat Kohli, one of the most obnoxious, foul mouthed and generally detestable cricketers in world cricket will get ignored. If Watson is winding you up (and no doubt this guy is an absolute ****), you return him in kind. By mocking an actual physical injury it is only you who looks bad. Then again when Indian fans are so happy to condone this sort of behavior, why would Dhawan care.
G_B_ Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 yup as i said Indians need to learn from Pollard. Gets up Pollards nose in every game they play
great siri Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 absolute disgraceful from dhawan.just a matter of time it will come back and bite him in his ass.
Scarves Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Don't understand the hypocrisy of people who are saying that abusing and talking absolute filth about your family members is class and playing hard but mocking a minor injury is somehow degradable. :hysterical: Mocking is too far. Filth about family is way too far. Sledging is fine if it is just verbal unless it is racial, sexuality, death, gender, family and religion. Everything else is fair game. However what Dhawan did was not verbal, it was just mocking the **** out of Watto. You never mock a player like that but you can go up to them a chirp to them. If Dhawan bagged out Watto using words, everyone would be fine with that.
Scarves Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 +1 Where were you lot when Watson laughed at Dhawan when he hit him around his groin with the ball? Faking meekness for the sake of it. Trust me that is funny for everyone on the field. I don't know why but it is like 'Football in the groin.' It's funny for everyone but the batsman. Heck I remember when one of the Australian players got hit the other batsman was cracking up laughing. Commentators pointed that out as well. It is just funny but you never want it to happen to you.
Number Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 absolute disgraceful from dhawan.just a matter of time it will come back and bite him in his ass. When Dhawan was hit in the abs, Watson was laughing at him. So it was Watson who got bitten in the ass in the end.
G_B_ Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Yes pollard seems to do it so easily - and that is when guess watson gets bereft of ideas that betrays his general lack of wit and intelligence :) does take a special quality though in a man to pi%% off so many people. lol so true

I think this is something carried over from test series six months back ...Aussies chirped a lot in dhawan's and rahane's first test innings with Watson and company leading the charge ..dhawan is just giving back when he is getting the chance ..
Scarves Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 See this is what I don't get how does Watson chirping = Dhawan mocking a player who suffered an injury? Kohli, Raina and co chirp as well and no one cares. No one in the Australian team cared. Chirping/Sledging part of the game. Also I did just see the highlights on TV. Context makes a big deal, to you guys it might have seen like mocking but I saw it as "You couldn't hit that." and I dislike Watto to a certain extent. I call him Twatto (****) :haha:
hhunaeh Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Yes pollard seems to do it so easily - and that is when guess watson gets bereft of ideas that betrays his general lack of wit and intelligence :) does take a special quality though in a man to pi%% off so many people. I don't agree with this wit and intelligence thing. English is just not his mother tongue and his english seems minimal for an indian player. This is not the case with pollard. You can always windup someone better in your own mother tongue rather than in a second language. You can always cut finer with an instrument you are used to, but unfortunately for dhawan, watto wouldn't get most of dhawan's windups.

Some of us would appreciate it more if Dhawan gave it back in a smart way, and not in a juvenile manner.
hhunaeh Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 True but a lil bit of misunderstanding. I was referring to the watson v pollard jousts. And yes colloquial 1-2 is fun as well :). You are right, i misunderstood
kumar713 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Dhawan can **** off http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=YVH7Tqi3VS8 Disappointed with Dhawan tbh.Shouldn't have done this.
maniac Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 If you have watched Cricket before,You should know Shane Watson is no angel. Anyways,Indian humor is not subtle enough and comes across as crude like this one but apart from that couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.....watson is a known douche.
