Mocking Shane Watson's injured leg seem unsporting to me at-least .Sledging is fine ,but thing needs to be kept at level that it doesn't look unsporting . I don't remember if there was any altercation between Dhawan and Watoo, while India was batting .

Was unsporting imo.........don't know the context of it though......Watson and Dhawan did have a verbal exchange in Nagpur......so maybe some bad blood from that episode........

a) Absolutely zero sympathy for Watson; he sledges everyone everywhere. Picks fights like an idiot all the time. b) Stupid, immature and juvenile of Dhawan. Sledging should be done smartly and not gracelessly as if he's playing gully cricket. He's representing his nation and millions are watching him.

There must be a reason why the same two players, watson and faulkner, were targeted in more than one game. I didn't see any other aussie being sledged. They might have been the designated aussie sledgers. But i agree dhawan went overboard, he could have just verbally sledged them back.

Dhawan and Kohli were really angry today. Cant believe there was no provocation. Watson must have made some nasty comment as he does almost every match. Think in the 2nd ODI as well Watson was repeatedly chirping to Dhawan. That is the problem with sledging. Once you start it, is there any limit to it? If Watson can freely abuse families of others, he should be ready to get mocked for everything. Can't associate morals and ethics into this debate unless you completely put an end to sledging.

The problem with dhawan was he made himself look bad in front of everyone making watson look like the victim. Maybe our players aren't sophisticated enough in english to piss somebody off verbally.

It was the same when bhajji monkeygate happened. Symonds was shouting non stop abuse at Bhajji. when he was fielding in the circle. Then Ponting sent Symonds to field on the boundary to cool him off. But during over changes Symonds came in from the boundary and kept abusing bhajji. I am pretty sure Bhajji did call him a monkey and got out on a technicality. As monkey is not such a big deal in India. But people overlook at the fact that he was abused non stop in the name of "sledging". One thing i will say is our players need to be smart about this. Look at Pollard in the IPL. Constantly winds up Watson/. Not by swearing but having words with him.

I think he said 'teri maa ki'......and symonds interpreted that as monkey........Harbhajan still got fined on grounds of using abusive, foul language........

Watson is one of the most uncouth players around. He has been having a go at the indian batsmen throughout the series. There is a reason why he got the send off from Jadeja as well. Have no sympathies for the a hole. F*** 'em. he deserved it.

Honestly I don't care. Have no sympathies for these Aussies. Remember how Ponting boorishly abused Srinath when, after hitting Punter with a bouncer, Srinath politely inquired if he was fine. Honestly, these guys deserve no compassion at all. They think they have a right to crack all sorts of personal jibes but when something is said /done in return, they suddenly expect some 'class' in sledging (e.g. Mcgrath- Sarwan incident). Not happening. As Gavaskar said, it cannot be a one way street.

Initially I was seriously pissed off at Dhawan, but I noticed that Watson laughed his mouth off after hitting Dhawan in the stomach with his bouncer during the Indian innings. I think this may have been the reason why Dhawan was so worked up, something which Ive never seen before, as he is usually calm and collected. Watson and Faulkner have been mouthing off pretty much the whole series, so I don't see why India shouldn't give it back to them. I just wish Dhawan would have sledged in a more proper manner which doesn't earn him a fine. Another telling thing is that it was him and Faulkner who were targeted by the Indian fielders. I don't think Kohli, Jadeja, and Dhawan mouthed off on the other Aussies like Bailey after dismissing them.
