How do you see the next 9 away tests

My prediction - Win 3, Loss 2, Draw 4 Before the Australia tour next year and world cup, we play 2 test in South Africa and then 2 in New Zealand, followed by 5 match series in England. How do you see this new team doing there. Be as specific as you can be in your prediction. Next month's tour to South Africa should be a good test four our new team I see them levelling the series 1-1. Nz tour - The pitches can be unpredictable, I believe we are in for another drawn series. Both test will be drawn. Basine Reserve and Eden Park both can produce results, but I think our batting will do well there if not great and I see our bowling not imposing a big threat threat there. Hence, 2 draw test matches. Then comes our big 5 match test tour to England. First time in ages we will be playing a 5 match test series. Really excited about this as always. I think this team will start it's hunt for glory here and win this series 2-1. So here is my prediction of the 9 tests. India win 3 loss 2, draw 4

SA - 2 losses, would love see us stretch SA to day 5 in both the tests , no sub-100s scores from the team and not those 550-600 runathons for the opposition NZ - If the pitches are like 2002 or earlier, 2-0 to NZ. If they are like they were when Eng toured NZ early this year, 1-0 win for us Eng - Win a test somehow, 3-1 to England Over all 9 tests, 2 wins 7 losses quite optimistic but 0-9 is a real possibility

LOL NZ 2-0 us no matter the pitch/conditions. They suck. Therefore 2 wins guaranteed. We shouldn't even be talking about the next 9 tests as including the NZ series is a joke. It should be next 11 (2 SA + 5 Eng + 4 Oz). In between we'll whitewash NZ away and WI home no matter what happens in the other matches.

Don't be so over confident about NZ tour. We have knack of under performing against them every time. They are pretty good at home regardless of how pathetic they have been off late against Bangladesh. They even lost 4-0 against Bangladesh before too in ODI'S and have always been close to ordinary away from home in last 4-5 years when we had toured them before. They are in transition phase just like us too who atleast know their regular players who would be playing for them in next few series and hence I say it won't be easy to beat them there. I am sure it won't be as tough as south africa or England tour, but it should be a tough hard fought 2 test matches. It's not going to be anywhere close to walk in the park.

India have a good chance at winning in South africa. Indian batsman might struggle in south african pitches but look at the record of south african batsman vs indian bowlers on south african wickets. Amla, peterson, smith, de villers all average less than 35, I don't see why any comibination of 3 out of yadav, khan, bk and shami can't keep it that way . Kallis has owned us but his career is clearly in decline since the last series. And batting wise having 4-5 young inform batsman capable of scoring big at the peak of their careers but might not have the most experience is not such a bad thing. Scoring centuries in south african pitches is not that difficult if you survive the new ball. Even wasim jaffer almost scored a series winning century in south africa.

Nzl have a good bowling attack...Obviously No Bond or Vettori but definetely have some good fast bowlers and I except Mccullum and Taylor to do well against our attack...they surely wont be pushovers at home this time around. As far as aussies go Johnson,Harris,Siddle can run through any batting line up on most pitches....Their batting-Clarke sucks and the only way we can beat them in their backyard is if our batting steps up. As far as SOuth africa goes,No over the top patriotism or optimism...With this team white wash is inevitible

The only way is if England team loses form......We have to admit on paper I rate England better than Southafrica(No immigration jokes here )....they are the best test team in the world...otherwise It is going to be just as bad...let us hope for the best

England had hit a purple patch. Cook was in form of his life during those few months. Even he thrashed Australia in Austrliaa. They are still the best team on paper and would continue to do good for a while I believe because they have some top batsmen in that line up. But having said that, I don't think they will be as dominant as that last tour. 2 things happend why we hit a 0-4 record there. Our poor performance after all the hype when the series started that we are world no 1, and secondly, England bats going great guns. With so man slots on line in test line up, I believe our batsman would be more hungry to score runs this time around and since we would have played south africa and nz already, we should be well prepared for this tour.

It will be a good learning experience for our team. The current team is inexperienced(in tests) but a very talented one. Remember even our ATGs struggled in their first overseas tours, so cant be too harsh on our team. But I feel this team has the goods to become a great test side.

The strength with England is you run through their top order,they have guys like Prior,Swann and Broad all technically very good batsmen and attacking to add can come in and take the game away from you,where as S.A you run through their top order,their tail is much easier to dismantle. England is the team to beat in tests right now and I dont think we have the bowling fire power to do that. SA,we can expect a batting collapse somewhere to give us a sniff but again their bowling will be a handful to us. NZL is our best bet but again i think they have a very good seam attack and in bowler friendly conditions at home,likes of Mccullum and Taylor can take the game away from us at times and it is not going to be a cakewalk as lot of the posters are thinking

The strength with England is you run through their top order,they have guys like Prior,Swann and Broad all technically very good batsmen and attacking to add can come in and take the game away from you,where as S.A you run through their top order,their tail is much easier to dismantle. England is the team to beat in tests right now and I dont think we have the bowling fire power to do that.

Another reason for both of the above things you mentioned is the pitches. Our bowlers or any bowlers in the word would make use of the wicket in south african pitches to restrict the tail soon. In England though and also in Australia, the pitches aren't really "Deadly" A bowler can come out and settle and frustrate the opposition. Even Kumble settled well there plenty of times and some other bowlers. This is where our bowling also put our hands down and wait for declaration to happen from opposition camp as they feel they have done all to get that last few wickets.
