Bumper
No shame in this loss. This is the kinda fight we all expect to see from this team. Sending Dravid up the order was a big blunder. Him & Ganguly just stalled the momentum, causing too much pressure to build. Overall a good performance. Chasing 320 vs the world's best team, is almost impossible, but atleast we came close. gs
Yeah, I'll take a defeat like this any day over the one in the last match where we just went home with the tail between the legs! Link to comment
Yuvraj4Captaincy
well played australia, tendulkar and uthappa ! Link to comment
beetle
Well played...better luck next time.... Link to comment
Gambit
Lion hearted performance from our batsmen today! How many times are our bowlers going to keep setting our batsmen the almost impossible task of chasing 300+ every other game?! If only Robin had come ahead of Dravid, we might have gotten closer. Gaurav
I disagree! Bowlers/fielders threw in the towel during Aus batting. Yes Ganguly could have run more but the blame for this loss has to go to- Dravid, Sree and Yuvraj. Link to comment
HouMac
Good performance indeed but moral victories suck. Especially considering the position we were once in in this game. This was a choke job. Link to comment

This was a choke job. There is no moral victory here..India lost after a wonderful opening stand..hard to swallow but ozs r unstoppable and gonna be more cocky Link to comment
Gaurav
Well it was not even a moral victory! Link to comment

fineleg
SRT, Uthappa and Dhoni batted really well. Ganguly was "ok" ish. Its unfortunate that most teams dont rely on "sheet anchor" - but our team needs one. So, ok for now I suppose that we have to put up with 60-70 strikerate range while chasing 318. DRAVID - Sleepwalking while batting, dropping catches etc. Yuvraj Singh - clueless against spin, and today in general clueless against Mitchell Johnson as well Sreesanth - no business in ODIs - drop him from squad. Bowling - we give 300+ to Aussie pretty much EVERY TIME :-( Link to comment
Guest Hiten.
SRT, SG led india perfectly, our middle order failed to capitalize on that brilliant start. Its sad that we had to be on the losing side. But anyways, SRT and SG played like they were young and determined to hit a nail on Ausi's head :( Link to comment
yoda
Yes, 300 chasing against the #1 team in the world is nothing to be ashamed of. Link to comment
The Outsider
Not well played. Any team pretending to be an ODI unit will not score at 2 RPO between the 36th and 42nd over. We are mediocre, that's about it. Link to comment
kabira
Ganguly played well, but my issue with him is that he is hardly able to up the ante...he was struggling last part of his innings..him and struggling dravid...we lost the plot right there. Dhoni should have promoted himself after the wicket of Pathan. Link to comment
veer
if we keep saying.. ''well played'' after games like this.. then dont know what your standards are frankly.. missed couple of key catches.. after getting well into game with advantage of 130+ with no loss with healthy run rate.. and still losing game.. i dont think i would say 'well played''........ couple of startegic blunders in batting order.. MundaPakistani
Won't go as far as saying well played to a team that has been outplayed in 5 out of the 6 ODIs but i do see a bit of potential. Guys like Uthappha, Pathan, Chawla and RP Singh will all end up being very useful ODI cricketers. Link to comment

Veer, You hit the nail on its head. Barring a few players who tried hard, the rest were too mediocre. Link to comment
