adi B
Ojha was still in the test squad' date=' was never dropped in those 2 tests with Bhajji taking his spot based on what he did in the Irani Trophy match before the Aus series.[/quote'] oh man,u are going hell bent to prove dhoni correct, just accept it dhoni was wrong in dropping ojha for bhajji/jadeja .the guy bowled far better than any other bowler in the england series but was dropped based on that irani trophy game? lol Link to comment
Number
. God knows when we will get rid of Ishant. When we get rid of Dhoni. Link to comment
Ghost Buster
But for ODIs? Surely we can try a debutant in ODIs. And who is the backup opener for Tests? Usually we take 3 openers for away tour? (Test) Is that Saha or Rayudu or Rahane? Where is the third opener? And three spinners for SA tests that means india will play both asvin & jadeja in tets on those green wickets, dumb logic! Link to comment
saneindian
Okay one irani trophy where ojha took 3 wickets and bhajji 5 is what it takes to loose confidence in a young bowler who has bowled well in consistently in test series' date='kya logic hai.[/quote'] Did you watch the Irani match? Did you watch the last 2 tests of Eng series? Remember the kind of abuses hurled on our spinners during that series? Bhajji also came in the 11 based on his reputation vs Aussies. In any case, Rhiti or no Rhiti, Ojha has been in the test squad for as long as you can remember was in the test squad in SA in 2010, in WI and England in 2011 and then in Aus in 2011-12. For WI and England series, we had Bhajji, Mishra and Ojha in the squad, not the 1st time we taking 3 spinners on an away tour. Link to comment
MCcricket
Unadkat was pushed in the team by Niranjan Shah also Jadeja was given a longer rope although he is not bad because of the same reason but Jadeja needs to perform with the bat , m not sure who the third player is. Link to comment

Ojha was the best spinner in the series,I remember most of abuse given to ashwin. Yeah i know ojha did not bowl that well in irani trophy but thats not a reason to drop him suddenly when u stick with ashwin and get bhajji and even jadeja ahead of him.It was wrong in every way.U can say ashwin, jadeja did well and ojha after signing with rhiti played 2 tests and did not do that well but that is not the point . In last tours of sa ,eng, aus we did not take 3 spinners. Its a waste anyways abroad better play dc. Link to comment
Ghost Buster
No umadkat no Vinay. Rubbish selections. Unadkat has more expirience of test match in SA conditions than Umesh Shami Bhuvi combined. Do you want our team to suicide?? Link to comment
Sidhoni
When we get rid of Dhoni. If that was the case Ishant would have played all Aussies ODIs then the tests and ODis against WI too. Link to comment
diga
Somehow the team mgmt has lost faith in Gambhir and they are not returning to him.Gambhir at 4 would have been a better choice than Kohli/Rohit/Rahane.. Doubt if Zak might play any tests.. Link to comment
pindxb
Ya probably if that happens then he'll replace BK as Shami & Umesh will start. I doubt Umesh will be in the first XI, though I wish he was. It could be Zak, Bhuvi and Shami. Link to comment
Sandeep99
Vijay Dhawan Pujara Kohli Sharma Dhoni*+ Ashwin Bhuvi Zaheer Umesh Shami Need to go with all the fast bowlers.. Hoping not to get slaughtered! :( Link to comment

Dhoni saved ishant from the flat odi tracks,If he had played him he might have ended his career on these roads. But it was a good deciosn to rest him ,But selecting him again is moronic. MCcricket
For Ishaant to be back so early will hurt his game, he needs to work on his technique and seam position now he will risk failure also loose a chance to get back to basics , selectors are stupid as far as bowlers, getting 9 wkts in a domestic game doesn't reflect his true bowling form. Because he believes in his talent like he did with rohit sharma's.Captain word is always counted for in selection and we know dhoni is all powerfull with bcci president support. There is no reason to bring back ishant ,who has been terrible in tests for last 4 years and just recently dropped from odis. Bizarre. Then Ishant wouldn't have played the first 3 ODIs. Link to comment
