Aussies got trounced by India and England on away tours but nobody is even bringing it up. Everyone pooh poohs India's home wins which includes many Indians sadly. Let us take proteas for example they got trounced by SL away in five match series but it seems like no one even remembers it yet Indians losing two lousy odis is very big deal. I think it is because India has historically been a poor away team than those teams. We've never had success in SA or Aus. While both those teams have done decently in India.

For the first time, we managed to draw a Test series in SAF soil. We have definitely grown as an ODI team, but the foundation of the tea was built earlier in 09/09 under Gary. So yes, Duncan has been a *****y coach and deserves to be booted. Kirsten got a ready-made team tbf. Just when he was about to take over India won the CB series under Lal chand Rajput :giggle: even the T20 WC was under him. IIRC Kirstens only real success was SA tour, India fought well in test series. ODI's we were similarly poor in SA and would've been blanked 5-0 if not for Yusuf's heroic in one of the games.

While both those teams have done decently in India. Pretty much. If India has actually done relatively well overseas in ENG, AUS and RSA then people wouldn't be talking. Also no one likes India from what I know because of the BCCI which is unfair on the team itself so everyone wants them to be crushed.

Adjusting from slow and low SC pitches to fast, bouncy, seaming, swinging pitches is always difficult that vice versa and this is the biggest reason of failures of SC teams in those countries.

Indian players do not have the technique and have had no preparation. Fecking BCCI gave the players no time to prepare; they got shellacked in the ODIs and the ONLY practice game is washed out.... The horror show and the embarrassment continues on Dec 18!!

I agree about ODIs but for not for tests.

Have u seen their record in other countries except srilanka.Sa have the best away record by a mile of current teams.
