I don't know how to leave the ball by getting in line and why would someone to try to get in line when ball is outside off and swinging away when you can leave it without getting in line.

@ rkt come on..i am not asking to pad the ball i am saying is you take your front foot towards the ball and then decide to leave or attack the ball i have micheal hussey in min while typing this and to me he was the best leaver of ball who would first come forward and leave the ball on length and if its little wide cover drive it for 4 kohli played so many drives too and most of them connected the middle of bat even if there was swing and thats because he was forward and rohit was not..rohit even fished at ball out side off stump and played and missed so many times covering swing does not means playing the ball its very basic thing and on cric info there was video saying indian batsmen used feet better than south african batsmen also rohit got out in first inning with same flaw he went for wide ball without moving much and edged it..he should come good in future but he needs to do whath e was doing in first inning until he played that dumb shot go forward and play the ball (i even posed in some other thread saying he did much much better in this test than that odi ) until that bad shot..

Rohit got out because he played a poor shot which was not necessary. Pujara, Kohli did not do that.

Kohli only played drives when ball was overpitched. He did not play on the rise. Rohit was trying to play on the rise, on a ball which was not there to play that shot.

WOW Steyn WOW ! :hatsoff: to this guy. He had a horrendous test just a ew days back. Looked toothless on the first day, but as soon as you think "Well hes been done in by some younstas", he comes up with a spell like this. What a lethal spell of fast bowling. And Indian batsman have gone nuts, no clue how to handle his pace and movement. What a turnaround.
