kruiser Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Drop Kohli I say.. should have stayed longer rather than play that irresponsible school boy shot
Cricketics Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Drop Kohli I say.. should have stayed longer rather than play that irresponsible school boy shot Yes. Should have let Rohit scored more runs for his confidence, instead of being man of the match himself. SELIfish and hurting the team.
CommonMan Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Stick it up your ar*e yo ! ok i will stick it in your face :giggle:
CommonMan Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Get the fecking Nohit outta da team! :protest: He is of no use!
CommonMan Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 This thread is the best thing to happen in ICF for a long time :--D
virufan Posted December 24, 2013 Author Posted December 24, 2013 I think rohit is a very slow learner' date=' he took very long to come good in odi's. So just have to give him more chance in tests. He has a test avg of 151 now then why drop him? He is a lot better than this rayadu, rahane guyz. Will come good in next test.[/quote'] Forgot how Rayudu hit centuries in one of the A tours. If that is not taken into account, what will?
Detonator Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 I don't want Rohit to get dropped, I want him to do well. Rohit fanboys are defending him to give another chance but calling Ashwin to be dropped becoz he didn't get wickets in one match. :giggle: Hypocrites :hehe:

rkt.india Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 But wouldn't you expect a top order batsman with bat ' date=' pad close together[/quote'] Ball went underneath his bat. How would bat and bat together have stopped it?
rkt.india Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Rahane's defense is better than Rohit's defense. Against spinners Kohli is by far the best. Even Pujara sometimes gets into awkward positions against spinners. :hysterical: Look at how many times Kohli got out to spinners! Kohli is always tentative against spin, even against WI. Pujara is better.

rkt.india Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 This should be his last test. The hack is noway gonna give India a single good innings from hard situations looking the way how mentally fragile he is. who scored 2 back to back 100s in difficult situations in his first 2 tests. :winky:
Cricketics Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 :hysterical: Look at how many times Kohli got out to spinners! Kohli is always tentative against spin, even against WI. Pujara is better. Tentative? Dude that term can't be used for a player who shows lot of aggresion towards a spinner. You remember him dealing Ajmal and other bowlers around the world. Getting out to a spinner doesn't really indicate that he is tentative towards spinners. This is like someone saying that Ponting sucked against short ball since he got out a lot of times play pull or hook shot. He was still master at playing those shots and playing short ball wasn't really tough for him. Even Sehwag is pretty good against spin. Scored plenty of runs to spinners, and has also eventually gotten out to spinners. Tentative is a big word mate. It's like using the word "harrasment" for just talking to a girl.

You remember him dealing Ajmal and other bowlers around the world. I am talking about test matches, not ODIs. Did you see how he got out against WI and against England in test series to spinners? Didn't he fail to score big runs in those series?
Cricketics Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 I am talking about test matches' date=' not ODIs. Did you see how he got out against WI and against England in test series to spinners? Didn't he fail to score big runs in those series?[/quote'] I did. We can't really single those out though. He does try to do funny things right now since he is still learning. Still very young in his test career and he hasn't really set his mind now of how to approach every inning, once he has reached that point of time in the match where he looking at ease in the game. Stil far far away from the class of Dravid and Tendulkar who know which should to bring out at what time. So this is where he is going to learn as his career marches on.
Detonator Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 makes no ****ing sense ... no one wants ashwin to be dropped cos he did not performed its more to do that fast bowler will be better suited in these conditions .. please keep this type of logic out cos you are not only not getting ashwin discussion but also spoiling this one.. that comment is not for you :icflove: one fast bowler can come ahead of nohit. :mama:
King Tendulkar Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Drop Kohli I say.. should have stayed longer rather than play that irresponsible school boy shot Yes Kohli needs to go Also pujara needs axing. I mean he nearly got out to that rubbbish hijara bowler tahir. Giving that easy caught and bowled chance to him which he dropped. We need better then that
jonas10 Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Rohit should swap spots with Rahane. He did pretty good at #6.
Cricketics Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Rohit should swap spots with Rahane. He did pretty good at #6. Nope. That will mess up his morale which is still quiet good right now. Let him stay where he is. Just 3 test young man. Let hem stick to this position for few more tests. Let Rahane earn it the hard way by making the most of the position he gets to bat on. This will hopefully be good for both Sharma and Rahane.
