Bhuvi should be in the playing 11 against NZ but not at the expense of Yadav. Bhuvi should replace ishant. Yadav should be preferred over Bhuvi if it comes to selecting between the two of them. Bowling attack should be Shami, Yadav and bhuvi with Pandey and pankaj singh in the squad. AAron should first be tried in ODI's to see how well he is bowling.

Sandeep Sharma is one player to watch out for. Pankaj and Pandey are both doing well for multiple seasons and deserve a go as well. Is Bumrah the future? Too early to tell, but impressive record on flat decks so far. Has anyone seen Anureet Singh? Terrific record this season and fine overall record too. Harshal Patel is another good bowler - someone, somewhere claimed him to be better than his teammate Mohit.

Odis are before tests. What if he bowls well in odis. Would we not regret not having him in test squad? I can see him doing very wll in odis, then all moaning o wish he was in test team Include him in both, common sense. If having 16 man squad just make it a 17 squad to have him. Thats how importnat it is for us to have fast bowlers

Many just dont get test cricket!! You cant have a bowler who is only good with new ball for 5 overs, then after that is trundler! Need pace and pressure from both ends, even when ball is past 10 overs old!!

Philnader looks slow compared to steyn and morkel. In reality is as quick as Ishant. BK is slower

Haven't seen many bowlers bowl 60 overs in a match. But I agree he deserves selection.

So you want him to open and bowl 15 overs in a row??? What cricket do you watch. Also lets hope he bows well, what happens if bowls poorly or need to make tactical change and take him off. Then bring him back on and is nothing with old ball Also I hate these types, Must have new ball or useless. So inflexible for the team. Thus even if Ydav deserves new ball cos of pitch or bowling better, cant as this player must have new ball or no good

bowling 122-132 ks.same as BK. point is even SA don't play their 3 fastest men together.they go for a swing/seam bowler.we should do that too.If not BK,then Pandey who bowls around 135 and gets outswing and is tall. Aaron can be nice backup to Yadav/Shami:two_thumbs_up:

I would say Shami is a genuine swing/seam bowler, just does it a lot faster then BK Yadav is raw pace but he does reverse it AAron is very accurate and swings it, gets reverse. Similar to shami, will offer control as well Anyway I do agree on aaron that needs to maybe show that is fit and ready. Play him in odis in nz, if looks good retain him for tests

I say we need to go back to the glory days of 1st odi v SA. The dream team Mohit and BK opening the bowling. Line and length yes, in fact super accurate. No pace but super accurate. O wait, whole of ICF woke up for a dy and finally realised that trundelrs at top level dont cut it. Up in arms most were saying chuck trundlers and need pace. O how they forget and now calling for the sub 80mph bowlers back!!

In odis has a role. Not questioning that! I maintain my point, which on one seesm to want to address(apart from bowl him in 2 spells of 15 overs:--D). He is to slow to be a succes in test cricket. Yes in test could be ok with new ball but after that with older ball will be food and drink for top players.

Aaron is probably quickest and will get reverse with that action.B.k can play when conditions suit.

Maybe BK can improve and build up his speed. But I maintain again and again. If he is going to rock up with old ball and bowl 78mph he is not good enough for TEST matches

Philander?

Look, you can compare Philander to only Mcgrath in his control and he bowled up to 86 mph in 2nd innings. I do not think any other bowler right now can match him in control. He is a great delivery stride, very close the stumps and hits the deck hard and his wobbly seam does not give any idea which way it will seam or swing. Please do not compare BK to him. BK is a completely different bowler. BK is a swing bowler, he is a seam bowler.
