Graeme Smith is an Englishman born in SA. He chose to represent his place of birth, but clearly his name tell you he's as English as Jonathan Trott. KP has English ancestry and chose to play fro England. Now if Monty had chose to play for India as one of your better tailenders, I wouldn't have had a problem with it. England dominates cricket anyway. Aussies are poms with bleached blond hair, so we always own the ashes. This one beats your Anderson's new ball, reverse swing post. :hatsoff:

Sad thing is we could have a genuineley goos bowl attack but can selctors and dhobi wake up. Or will they entrust in trundlers hittting off stump

We don't have a problem with Strauss (born in SA and moved at the age of 6) or Hussain (born in India moved at the age of 7) who were born elsewhere but lived their whole life in England. The problem is with the following players - Kevin Pietersen - Moved to England after spending 20 years in SA Eoin Morgan - Represented Ireland's international team FFS Gavin Hamilton - Represented Scotland's international team George Dockrell - Represented Ireland's international team Boyd Rankin - Represented Ireland's international team By that ancestry logic, India can effectively have every player from Sri Lanka-Pakistan-Bangladesh (and now even Afghanistan) in their team. It is not about ancestry you idiot, it is about poaching players from other teams to make your team strong. Ignore ancestry and the list of players like Morgan, Hamilton, Dockrell and Rankin is pure poaching the Ireland team to make England cricket team a force which they yet can't be even after all these dirty tactics.

Dominating cricket is what we did for effectively 12 years (1995-2007) as the #1 team devouring nearly everyone in our paths. Also you can refer to the great West Indian team of the 1970s and 80s for pure demolition. you Pommies got whitewashed 0-3 in the UAE, lost to South Africa at home, and were were a Matt Prior miracle innings away from losing to "lowly" New Zealand. Teams worldwide feared us and the West Indies of the 80s when we were on top. England NEVER had that fear factor. They hit a purple patch during the 2010-11 Ashes and that ended around early January of 2012. They are a good gritty team that will continue to win at home though.

With the exception of Pieterson, the rest are crap and they chose to play for England. They wasn't kidnapped. And none of those players are mentioned when the poaching jokes come out because they're rubbish. It was always South african Strauss, Prior. Stokes is being called a kiwi. Pieterson get mentioned. The reason why is these players are good. England have poached cricket players for over a 100 years. It's only when they started to have some success, "oh you're South Engrica" uh uh uh.
