Any comments about Maksood' date='Imam etc....:--D[/quote'] All attempts to spread mistrust, encourage confrontation, exploit fear for votes are condemnable. You cannot damage the unity of the country for short term benefits like votes in an election.

Ghaziabad: The Kargil conflict of 1999 has been dragged into the national election campaign in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad, where former army chief VK Singh is a candidate and a large number of former soldiers are voters. Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan controversially said today that a Muslim was behind the victory of Indian troops in Kargil. "The soldier who conquered the mountains of Kargil was not a Hindu but a Muslim," Mr Khan said at a rally on Monday in the district neighbouring Delhi. General VK Singh, who is the BJP candidate for Ghaziabad, today responded to that statement saying, "Indians won the Kargil battle for India." Ghaziabad will vote on Thursday for the nine-phase national election that ends on May 12. The votes will be counted on May 16.
Ironically, VK Singh is now communal as he supports Modi and Azam Khan is Secular.

Again, if you have a problem with someone else's posts, Report it. Pointless posts about who should post what, and queries on why some posters are not posting in certain threads serve no purpose at all.
This is not a problem per se , just askig poster to posts all weird angle photo's in one dedicated thread.

Kejriwal roadshows turned tide: AAP NEW DELHI: Campaigning for the Aam Aadmi Party came to a sudden and unexpected end when their leader Arvind Kejriwal was slapped during a rally in Northwest Delhi on Tuesday. The party is confident of winning all seven seats in Delhi, buoyed by Arvind Kejriwal's roadshows across all seven constituencies. Senior party leader Dilip Pandey said that surveys had not factored in the impact that would be created in the city after Kejriwal's campaign and that had turned the tide in favour of AAP. He also said that BJP, whose internal surveys reportedly have written off three seats, was its biggest challenge while Congress was not even in the fray. "This is indicated by the fact that Modi cancelled his rally and Congress barely managed to get a crowd for the ones it held. Compare these with the turnout at Kejriwal's Jan Sabhas," said party sources. On Tuesday, candidates campaigned frantically till 5pm. Rakhi Birla, the candidate from Northwest Delhi who was with Kejriwal when he was assaulted, reached Rajghat to sit with Kejriwal for about an hour before returning to her constituency. Chandni Chowk candidate Ashutosh, who has been unwell for the past few days, had to take a break for a couple of hours in the middle because his legs were cramping. "Despite that, I still walked for four hours. The cramp was a result of dehydration and if I didn't take the break in the afternoon, I would not have been able to do anything. But I did manage to meet people through pad yatras in Shalimar Bagh, Model Town, Ballimaran and Chandni Chowk," said Ashutosh. Rajmohan Gandhi, the party's 78-year-old candidate from East Delhi, tweeted shortly after his campaign ended: "Rain of roses from rooftops of six tall buildings ended powerful roadshow thru Shadara & KNagar & our campaign. I salute the AAP team (sic)." His last day of campaigning started at 6.30 am and ended at 5 pm with a break of five minutes in the middle for lunch. "He started his road show from Vishwas Magar and finished in Krishna Nagar. Sisodia was with him till Shahdara but had to leave on getting information about the attack on Arvind," said his team. The northeast Delhi candidate, professor Anand Kumar, held two road shows, addressed one press conference and addressed a few small in-door meetings. Candidates from New Delhi and south Delhi, Ashish Khetan and Col Devender Sehrawat held road shows in their areas.
