Yoda-esque Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 This is as good as Sushma Swaraj at her peak. Much better
ravishingravi Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Much better I was going to say that, but she lacks the guile of Swaraj. More feisty. This is prime example. http://youtu.be/H2L7pb67yvM
Sachin=GOD Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 http://youtu.be/_5u7bR5Pf3o This lady is unbelievable. No politician in the BJP has grown so much as a leader in the last 10 years as Smriti Irani has. I said this earlier and I am saying this again - she should be BJP's CM candidate in Delhi. And BTW, IMO Sushma Swaraj is at her peak now and Smriti Irani still has some way to go before she can reach that level.

This is prime example. http://youtu.be/H2L7pb67yvM OTOH,her language is impeccable, her oratory mesmerizing in the sense that she is able to say exactly what she wants with the right emotion. No rolling of eyes, hyperventilating or silly weird expressions either. I expect her to carry forward the torch

FischerTal Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 You are absolutely right. She will win Delhi hands down. Delhi is kejriwal's bastion. If he loses that, what will be left? :((
Sachin=GOD Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Delhi is kejriwal's bastion. If he loses that' date=' what will be left? :(([/quote'] If BJP forms the next Central Govt then Dilli is as good as gone for Kejri - irrespective of when the Assebly Elections happen, BJP would be the front runner. In a way Kejri's decision to go for a full Lok Sabha campaign and contest 450 seats has been good because it has totally exposed AAP as a party and Kejri as a leader. The people of Delhi saw him as a symbol of hope and thus voted for him but now that they have seen what he really is, first during AK-49 and then in this Lok Sabha campaign, I doubt they are going to be fooled by him.
Sachin=GOD Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 You are absolutely right. She will win Delhi hands down. But I don't think she will be made the CM candidate. Dr. Harshvardhan came in just one month before the Assembly elections and rescued BJP's campaign to the extent that they were the largest party so I think he will get another chance. Then there's Kiran Bedi as well - some leaders want her to take on Kejri. If BJP forms the Central Govt then she will probably get a Cabinet berth.
Khalpat Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Sharad Yadav criticizes Nitish Kumar PATNA: Sharad Yadav, who built his career as a political leader by presiding over parties that thrived on harvesting caste-based votes, is suddenly bemoaning the fact that two of his proteges - Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar - failed to rise above caste politics. With prospects of JD (U) poor at best, Sharad Yadav's statement against Nitish is being read by observers as an indication he wanted to distance himself from the Bihar CM's group and probably nudge the BJP as seeing him as a possible Modi ally. Sharad Yadav told an election meeting on Friday in Muzaffarpur that both Nitish and Lalu grew up in politics under his shadow. But he was pained to see they could not rise above caste politics. "Lalu destroyed Bihar due to his caste politics and now Nitish is also following him. I take the responsibility for the pathetic condition of the state (because I groomed these leaders)," said the JD(U) president. Sharad also criticized the party nominee from Muzaffarpur, Vijendra Chaudhury, who was not present at the meeting. Vijender had left the JD(U) earlier and hopped from one party to another before coming back to the fold. "Ab unt (camel) pahad ke ciche aa gaya hai," he said. State unit chief Bashishtha Narain Singh disapproved of Sharad's statement against the CM and party's Muzaffarpur nominee. "He (Sharad) should have refrained from making such statements in public," he told TOI. On the issue of support to Arvind Kejriwal in Varanasi, Singh sounded a discordant note, criticizing party general secretary K C Tyagi's announcement that JD(U) would campaign for AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal in his electoral fight against Narendra Modi. "No leader from Bihar will go to Varanasi to campaign for Kejriwal. Our leaders are bust campaigning for party leaders in Bihar where two rounds of polling are due," said Singh. While Singh said the announcement regarding AAP was made in haste without wider consultation, Tyagi retaliated claiming the decision was taken after discussions with Nitish and Sharad. Tyagi maintained the May 5 meeting at Varanasi is on. "Sharadji and I are going to address the joint rally with AAP leaders," he said. Tyagi also said Singh should have spoken to him before going to the media. While Sharad claimed on Saturday his statement was distorted by the media, senior party leader, including some ministers, said he was in the habit of making such statements to remain in news. Looks like JDU is on the verge of another split. Sharad Yadav wants to come back to NDA :haha:. There were some brilliant political analysts here at ICF who said no body will support Modi except Shivsena and Akali.

If one watches the news currently, we always hear some negativity about BJP. But there are many parties for example Congress or even AAP whom have a lot of internal conflicts which rarely get mentioned at all.
