The usual started making all sorts of straw men comparisons about indian poverty and how India gets aid. A lot of people dont seem to realise that infra for cricket in Nz is much better than India. Yet when India demands a bigger chunk its "greedy". NZC sits on its ass and does not spread the game is a victim.

Why is NZC not self sufficient after being at the top seat of the game for 80+ years. All i got for him was (what he thought) a brow beating. But other NZ people favourites it tweets. Some ridiculous arguments from Kiwis. I asked "why is NZC not self sufficient, NZ is a developed country" Reply "Because we are a small nation and rugby union is our main sport" I said " so whats stopping NZC form making cricket the main sport" Reply "thats as possible as rugby union being the main sport of India." Now, the question to be asked is, for any sensible person. What income does rugby India get from the IRB? I checked and its barely 1 million for a country of 1200 million. Ie a pittance. NZC on the other hand is gets about $12 million a year from ICC events (which is set to rise) and get big money when tours happen. Its sad to see that even basic arguments get some stupid responses. You cannot treat a country of 4.5 million and 1200 as the same. Clearly the BCCI need to earn a hell of a lot more to provide the infra to every indian than what NZC are providing.

I dont know where that figure came from. 23 years to win 4 test matches. Which took 49 test matches. The figure was seeing every single result of each country's tests from inception to their 4th win. So it took 23 years with 49 test matches for India to win 4. It's pretty simple.

That's my point.

Bangles dont have the opportunity as they will not be invited :beee:

No one played cricket in WWII and India played matches during the period of freedom and pre-independence. I don't see the point out excuses for something that had happened back nearly 60 years ago. The only excuse you could have used was India just started off against strong teams. :haha: I wasn't even knocking India. It took New Zealand 80+ matches to win 4 games, they just plain sucked.
