& I think there is not any other single-wicket win from Pak against Ind in all this period between these 2 matches... (Although comparing Afridi with Miandad :cantstop:)

Sucess in cricket is a combo of skill + attitude. To be a serviceable batsmen in international cricket, your attitude is as important as your skill (I'd say 50/50 split). But, to be a serviceable international bowler, skill is certainly more than attitude (80/20 split). You can just will yourself to be a fantastic spinner like Ajmal - you need to have those dextreous hands, the strong fingers and arm control to land the ball where you want it to land, in the trajectory that want it to take. Our bowlers, especially our pacers, seem to be suffering from a chronic lack of skill and attitude. There's not one indian bowler right now that you can look at and say he's a world beater. Almost all of our bowlers fall in one of the three categories - below average (Aaron), average (Ishant, Bhuvaneshwar) & above average (Aswhin, Jadeja). It is very difficult to win cricket games with this attack.

Shami is good prospect and Aaron is a skilled bowler ,he is just starting out.Ajmal was not the same bowler when he started .We just want ready made legends,It is not going to happen.U have to pick and back guys who have ability and in aaron, shami,Yadav, bhuvi u have guys who have ability to form a good attack.

we love mediocrity as a team...we feel proud of below average performances..support foolish captaincy...no punishment for underperformance
when there was hardly any punishment under dhoni there how can there be under 3 games of kohli captaincy? under dhoni we've lost far more since december

India can still qualify for the finals Bangla needs to win both their matches (and get a bonus point too) India needs to beat Afghanistan by a HUGE margin (thereby gaining a bonus point) AND WE'LL BE THROUGH :yay: :yay: :yay: :(( Just a theoretical probability

Yep. This is the way to go, and despite the poor results I think India are heading in the right direction. It would have been too easy to simply bring back Sehwag, Gambhir, Bhajji, Yuvraj, Pathans etc... , sticking with a young team and giving them time to develop is going to pay dividends in the long run.
