ThePhenomenal1 Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 All this IPL talk, looks like we've (or india atleast) have forgotten India's poor overseas run. Just hope that dhoni and non-performers don't smash their way to getting out of this. We have Asia cup and world t20, hope india can compete. These are also big events and dhoni and co should be held accountable if they perform poorly. What hurts most is these overseas losses and the continuing poor captaincy that is ruining the team. Anyone else agree?
Cricketics Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 What's depressing. It's been announced over year ago that this month will be of auction. It's more fun for spectators and media to run and have a field day. It's not that players have boycott the ongoing series. Games are still happening in New Zealand and in South Africa. Tension not.

We're losing, so obviously everything happening right now has to be wrong :giggle:
coffee_rules Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 There will be a time in the future when IPL will be the only 'cricket' played.
Temujin Khaghan Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 soon there will be a time when india has nothing to do with the communist world cricket...
ThePhenomenal1 Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 We're losing' date=' so obviously everything happening right now has to be wrong :giggle:[/quote'] I think you're misunderstanding my point. It's not that the IPL auction has occured; we knew it was happening. It's the fact that everyone is overjoyed like NOTHING has happened. This should only be the case if we get some good results but we have not. We are no longer the fighters were were for a short period of time. Reason being the lazy, poor, stale captaincy and misuse of bowlers.
maniac Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Ipl is capitalism, international cricket is colonialism.....ipl rules

Still, reminds me of how we have lost quality bowlers in ipl through injurys or spoiling them. Have to partly blame india's bowling culture (or lack thereof)
