Ganguly is one of the avg test batsmens . Hes no Dravid , VVS or Tendulkar .

Hes no Dravid , VVS or Tendulkar . yeah i agree.dhoni will most probably get picked in the all time indian test X1 ahead of ganguly because he's a wkt keeper but purely as a batsman and a captain ganguly's way ahead

Ganguly did it on Test debut.....I don't think we went winless over 4 consecutive overseas Test series under Ganguly either.......Ganguly's contribution to Indian cricket cannot be accurately measured by statistics.......He was far from perfect and I personally think he was relieved from captain at the right time........but without a doubt.......he was India's most important captain in recent times.....
