Playing Jadeja on that green pitch was like playing a bowler short. Luckily for India NZ were bowled out under 60 overs on the first day. Had they managed to form a decent partnership and crossed that 60 over mark (~20 overs each for the first bowlers) with 3-4 wickets in hand they would have at least batted out the whole first day. This is not an observation in hindsight. Called it on the first morning itself' date=' talking about the second test in NZ.[/quote'] Playing jadeja was not wrong move, Jadeja is playing at no8 , if he had played another fast bowler say Yadav it would have weakened the batting Indians were not going to do it.

Kohli played very less matches to be compared to dhoni. But what I have seen of kohli looked out of ideas when aaron got hit and he allowed a single to tailender first ball in the 49 th over this criminal by dhoni standards as well. Even a gully captain would bring in the field.

If a captain is calm and not jumping all over' date='there's a good chance that it helps the bowler think better ,replicating success once could be considered lucky;doing it multiple times not so much[/quote'] where did he replicate the success, he never made it past group stages in t20s, he never went to finals again in CB series. He never won a test in Aus,Eng and test series in SL. So all these point out to one thing he got extremely lucky. Any moron who is half decent can win in India. He brought back that 1990s to Indian cricket which took a decade to overcome. He is the worst overseas captain in Indian history who is not only gutless but also worthless as a batsman.
