2016 will be the last Asia Cup?

Seeing that it is not a major money churner for BCCI, I would bet that 2016 will be the last edition of Asia Cup which will be hosted in India. I won't miss it.. though add Afghanistan in a domestic tourney like Vijay Hazare cup or Syed Mushtaq trophy...

No they will keep it alive as a tradition. However, I would love if it is converted to a t'20 tournament and invite more teams.

The last edition of Asia Cup was good too. Bangladesh almost emerged out only 2nd best.

Yep. Apart from the Ind-Afg and SL-Afg, all other games were pretty good.

Agreed with some posters here. This Asia cup turned out to be far better than what we expected, close games, emergence of AFG as a decent team. :two_thumbs_up:

According my Dutch friend, it is only played in one neighborhood. Afghanistan will be fine. Zimbabwe and Ireland need help from bigger cricket countries near them. Bangladesh is lost cause.

my bet is Bangladesh is concentrating on the world T20 to be held at home..
