IndianRenegade Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Malaysia jet search: India declines China's request to enter waters around Andaman and Nicobar Islands The Chinese are cunning. It was a good decision, India can do the search for them.
Desi Cartman Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 The Chinese are cunning. It was a good decision' date=' India can do the search for them.[/quote'] If the plane is in southern hemisphere then why do they need to search around Andaman islands
asterix Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Malaysia jet search: India declines China's request to enter waters around Andaman and Nicobar Islands Since when the Chinese started requesting permission to trespass? :hmmmm2:
Roshanrocks Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 *FIrst of all, the two pieces found on satellite have yet to be found on site by the planes (which get only 2 hours to search)... the ship would do a better job... once they find it.. should it be the actual MH370 pieces, they would have still have a problem.. * WHen the pieces were found surely they moved over there after floating for a good many days... so the actual crash location could still be much farther than where they found the two pieces... Maybe Sonar can help... :hmmm: MH370 kaha hai tu :hitler:
Roshanrocks Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Since when the Chinese started requesting permission to trespass? :hmmmm2: (i read this somewhere a long time ago), when the british left India they only drew the borders of India-Pakistan, didnt make a border between India and CHina... so basically India and CHina never had a distinct border.. It was India who first went there and occupied land saying this belonged to India...Mr.Nehru never bothered to have a meaningful dialogue with the chinese over this matter... all other countries who had borders with CHina, sat down and negotiated their border disputes with CHina... But not India... ALso the 1962 war was initiated by India and not China as is depicted in out text books... CHina twice cease-fired and asked Nehru for a discussion but he refused.. This is why China and we dont have good relations politically.. :hmmm:
hhunaeh Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Most of the world's ocean floors are not mapped, supposedly. Mapping an ocean floor allows military vessels, submarines to safely navigate the ocean. It can tell us about ocean depth, hidden mountains, valleys and other such physical features. It also helps us in finding out the location of mines laid by the enemy. This may explain why navies and research vessels are desperate to explore territories of foreign nations.
zen Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Inmarsat says told Malaysia of Indian Ocean possibility on March 12 - British satellite company Inmarsat said it was already “fairly certain” that search parties should scour the Indian Ocean for signs of MH370 two days after the aircraft disappeared and subsequently shared its data with Malaysia on March 12. “This is very troubling, just thinking of the time wasted and what was ever on the water moving farther away,” said Tom Haueter, former National Transportation Safety Board investigator, was quoted saying in an ABC News report.
Roshanrocks Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Inmarsat says told Malaysia of Indian Ocean possibility on March 12 - At that time I guess Malaysia didnt know that the plane had diverted west and might have deemed the Indian ocean an unlikely location ..
zen Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Another "I saw it" story - but this time from 35k ft Link In a report by The Star today, Raja Delaleh Raja Latife claimed she spotted metallic objects in the Indian Ocean, during her flight home from her pilgrimage to Mecca that flew over the southern Indian city Chennai on March 8. “It looked like an aeroplane. I took a closer look and was shocked to see what looked like the tail and wing of an aircraft on the water,” the 53-year-old said in the local English daily. In the same report, an unnamed pilot who was informed of her story said it was impossible for anyone to spot objects in the ocean or ground from a plane’s cruising altitude of 35,000ft. :bebored:
