FischerTal Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 He already did but Ofcourse you did not follow them Kohli did better in South Africa than what abdv does in India that's all I have got to say :winky: did well in NZ too but of course lungan trolls will keep their head in the sand
Temujin Khaghan Posted May 5, 2014 Author Posted May 5, 2014 did well in NZ too but of course lungan trolls will keep their head in the sand they iz jealous that Sangakarra is not being discussed :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Sanga is a home track bully and thats that.
sillymidoff Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 he's done okay in the last few months but people as deluded as u probably need to realize that guys like amla, sangakkara and even misbah have a better argument at being better batsmen right now?

putrevus Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 This guy is just a freak , he is such a rarity , he has everything he is limiting himself by this wk nonsense, he should be no3 in odis/t20s even for rcb and no 4 in tests, he is primed to dominate everyone for next 3 or 4 years. Kohli is good but in t20s AB is better. AB being so great is hurting him, he is batting too low .
kubrickian Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 AB hasnt done anything in World Cup knock out games. If he had done well, SA wouldnt have been knocked out every time. The measure of a player is how he does when the team needs him the most, like the innings Dhoni played in World Cup 2011 final or Kohli in 2014 World T20 games or Yuvraj in 2011 WC and 2007 World T20.

In World Cup, most games are crucial and he has done well in them. AB Devilliers or other batsmen are nowhere close in that regard.

India reached semis in worldcup thrice when Sachin was playing.50+,80+,80+ are his scores
Gollum Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 well by that measure tendulkar is probably the worst player of all time. he choked in big games consistently all his life. the only win he has is in 2011 and that was mainly due to the efforts of dhoni and gambhir Sachin is the highest run getter in WC history, add to that in 2 WCs he was top scorer and in 1 he was 2nd highest.
Gollum Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 And yeah ABDV is better than Kohli when there is no pressure. Otherwise Kohli is leagues better at least in limited overs cricket. Let us wait for another 2-3 years to decide if he can match ABDV in tests.
sillymidoff Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 first get ur facts right before trolling. India reached semis in worldcup thrice when Sachin was playing.50+,80+,80+ are his scores so? how many of those tournaments did they win?
kaptaan Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 so? how many of those tournaments did they win? 1 more than Sanga and mahela's wins combined
sillymidoff Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 1 more than Sanga and mahela's wins combined yeah that;s right. he won one on the back of dhoni.
FischerTal Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 yeah that;s right. he won one on the back of dhoni. scored most runs in the WC, yet he won on the back of dhoni. colombo logic in action
sillymidoff Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 scored most runs in the WC' date=' yet he won on the back of dhoni. colombo logic in action [/quote'] nobody doubts sachin was a great accumulator of runs, it's just that he went missing when the pressure was really on. :yay:

sillymidoff Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 achieved more in WCs than any lungan can ever dream of. your batsmen are only comparable to pakis when it comes to batting ability and thats a compliment yeah he did great in the round robin games and the non clutch situations. now if only he had that clutch gene, he would have been the ultimate batsman. but as it stands i'm sorry to say he would be the last guy i'd pick in a big final.
