But unlike ODIs, Rohit has done well in the middle order and has been a good finisher in IPL. How would you assemble the batting line up if Rohit opens with Dhawan?

Dhawan can easily score at a strike rate of 90 in ODIs and 120-130 in T20s. He can find the gaps and hit over the top and score boundaries in first 10 overs. He should definitely be our opener along with Rohit. Raina or Kohli can be our 3 or 4, followed by Yuvi and Dhoni. Honestly, death bowling is our only problem and that's where we will win or lose games.

kruiser Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 The biggest problem opening in WT20 will be Dhawan.. he is going to throw his bat at everything and get caught in first 3 overs, most of the time. Once again, we need players who have something to prove and a desire to excel. My money would be on Raina, Yuvi & Rahane (if in playing XI) to bail us out...
