they haven't appointed anybody. SC proposed the name of Gavaskar or any other ex cricketer for BCCI Prez. BTW IIRC the SC did appoint an interim board of directors for Satyam after the scam broke out so they can do the same here.

To all those who are asking why Supreme Court is propsoing to suspend RR and CSK- SC is not saying anything new, they are simply propsoing to follow IPL rules, agreed by the BCCI! Both CSK and RR Management broke the IPL rules and according to regulations they should be suspended. SC is asking: why can't you follow your own rules? Too much to ask for? Not in the civilized world. And as for as the fans are concerned, they might get upset this year. But they will surely appreciate the clean and strong teams from their cities in the future.
