Better thing would be for Indians to pay more attention to other sports like Soccer, Hockey, Basketball, Athletics, Swimming and less on cricket so BCCI wont make so much revenue which would result in corruption. But Indians are so lazy and physically weak that they can only play and show interest in lazy sports like cricket, chess, carrom etc.

Well we all know who runs it... and i found it wierd why he has a job there..
I think Dravid has been associated with it for long. Infact, I think he was at the same position as Dhoni beforehand. But, it's a corporate relationship and needn't be harmful all the time.

There is as much a chance of an Indian doing well in tennis as a North Indian has a chance of clearing 10th standard exams. Both have very low probability.

All other suggestions are ok but why should the Court be suggesting who should be BCCI president? Also, why Gavaskar and why not someone with impeccable administrative experience as the post of BCCI president doesn't have to do much with cricketing matters (though it has been misused in the past by almost all BCCI presidents)?
People seem to be confused about the concept of an interim leader. Usually an interim leader is appointed at a time of crisis. He is a non-elected person appointed by an internal or external committee. Usually an interim leader is appointed in circumstances like, the death of the current leader, leader falling ill, leader is caught breaking rules, etc. The interim leader only holds the post till the matter is cleared. Either the leader is clear of all charges and comes back to take his place, he gets better, fresh elections are held after clearing everything, etc Basically interim leader will be there only till the matter is investigated and resolved. Then fresh elections can be held and a new leader appointed (or is everything is cleared Srini will be back)
