TNAmarkFrmIndia Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Anyone else heard an annoyed Dale Steyn vent his frustration on Suresh Raina after he made room to play Steyn square on the off side by saying, "Fu*k off Raina! Stay still in your crease!"? Don't think it affected Raina at all since the match was already in India's hand by then, but it was an interesting pick-up from the stump mic nonetheless.

Especially when they are bossing the match I thought Steyn was a bit too short like other SA pacers. You have to question Alan Donald. He has coached in the IPL and some of his tactics v Indian batsman just did not make any sense. Raina will do well even overseas if you bowl short to him all the time.

Back of the length, length balls outside the off stump worked against New zealanders. Same balls went the distance against us. I am glad Steyn bowled that over. Otherwise we would have met our bogey team.

While they are our bogey team the semi finals in WCS are a bogey for them Would have been a chance to put a bogey to bed.
The Realist Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Steyn is a bit overrated. He's distinctly mediocre in the T20 format and apart from the NZ game has done little in this tournament. Got smashed by Eng and smoked today. And seriously what is with that haircut?
