Then they can increase to 4 tests later. 5 tests is too much. Get ready for 4-0 beating with one draw squeezed in between. I would rather take a 2-0 beating in 3 tests rather than a 4-0 beating in 5 tests.

We need a couple of swing bowlers and a few express pacers. let kohli have 4 pacers and see how he does. Only way we win cause if we have quality pacers, then: - Better chance of getting wickets due to wicket taking ability - bhuvi, umesh, shami, pandey can all have a good chance of striking quick. - This means we CHASE FEWER RUNS. This means we can set higher scores with our good batting and can afford to lose a wicket in 4th inning chases. We've seen on the nz tour how many times we needed an extra 40 or 20 runs to win.. ohh so close and yet so far! - Means we can BOWL OPPOSITION OUT. How did we not get McCullum and Watling out? We were embarrassing

ThePhenomenal1 Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 How to avoid collapse: get rid of dhoni and possibly rohit - give rohit a test or two then thats it for the time being 11: Dhawan, Vijay, Pujara, Kohli, Rayudu, Rahane, Saha WK, Jadeja DK can come in for vijay if needed. Thats a solid lineup, can play swing (maybe not jadeja) and when ball gets old, likes of jadeja and most others can cash in. DK wont be my wk cause he drops too many chances.
