rkt.india
Don't know what people expect to answer when journalists ask such questions. Are they supposed to say he is useless, he should be dropped and stripped of captaincy. Everyone will say the same like he is an experienced guy, good player, and can make come back, etc., etc. Link to comment
moniker
But he never chooses to back any fast bowlers apart from Ishant. Every other series, Ishant is the constant, the other bowlers seem to revolve around him. Link to comment
CSK Fan
Most captains try to demoralize the opposition before a test series. The mind games Aussies play are legendary. Our captain cool has achieved Nirvana and for him its all about loving everyone, test series are just yet another boring thing to do before IPL and T20 cups Link to comment

Raghav_12
Why is this idiot laying the foundation for Cook to comeback? He'll construct the whole building for Cook during test series by allowing him few double hundreds. Link to comment

ThePhenomenal1
Shane Warns Tells Cook to Take a Break Full article link below but here's what I think is the most important bit and equally applies to MSD. Though MSD has been more aggressive recently, he goes back to his old ways when something doesn't work. Warne on Cook at Headingley: He just does not get it. Everyone watching could see the game needed a change of pace; bowl the spinner or make the seamers try and actually get Angelo Mathews out. You just cannot bowl the same stuff over after over like he did - good captains try things and are proactive, not hopeful. Link: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/cricket/10928664/Alastair-Cooks-captaincy-was-the-worst-I-have-ever-seen-says-Shane-Warne.html Thoughts? I 100% agree. How many times have we seen Ishant told to bowl like 6-8 overs a time when the game is in the other team's hands? Edit: Supposed to be Shane WARNE and not Warns as title says.. whoops! Sachin asked reluctant Dhoni to call back Ian Bell to bat Or again asking Sehwag to take back the appeal of Ashwin mankading Thirimanne. Wonder what state of Nirvana Sachin was back then? Oh wait that was upholding spirit of cricket. Link to comment

putrevus
how the heck has Warne never written any article like this on our captain maginificient, who is much more conservative and does not know what attacking cricket means when he has no spinners. Link to comment
