Temujin Khaghan Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Dhoni-Jadeja-3 bowlers should try to contribute 85 runs on a regular basis in the tests so 280/6 becomes 365 all out basically the contribution from bottom 3 has been in binary digits, not even single numerals - this is a huge problem. also jadeja please bat like a batsman atleast in this series. 85 runs is a possibility for these 5 players on a regular basis.

I never insinuate Dhoni as a better batsman than Dravid as you want to believe it to be. I was just giving people a perspective who thinks he is one of the worst Wk batsman in overseas condition. Its a fact he avgs way more that some legends in Indian cricket in certain countries like NZ, Pak etc. He bats too lower in batting order to score a century, similar to Misbah ul Haq for Pakistan.

Overall, dhoni has abysmal record overseas. I'm not saying Saha or any other chap will be better than him but to say his batting merits a place in the test squad is not right
