^ Ok, here are my thoughts:

  • Start investigating all the media houses which are being vary hostile to Modi for years now together. (I hope Modi/Shah should've been on their case just like they are on the case of NGOs, for some time now). Every media house is bound to have skeletons up it's cupboards. Even media personalities like Barkha etc. had issues like Niira Radia case etc. All these needs to be explored.
  • I'm not sure if Reliance is 'on-board' or not? Reliance owns some major Media networks. I can't see it is anyway helping Modi... On the other hand I can see it's media network is pretty hostile to Modi.
  • Needs to tackle NDTV properly. BJP has some of it's ministers very friendly with NDTV. That needs to be stopped. The Congi links needs to be explored and made public.
  • Govt. is going slow on Congress scams. How can a Gov't appears to be so helpless in Rajya Sabha and depands on Congress's green signal to pass bills? Either BJP people are complicit in the Congi scams or they are plain incompetent.
  • Modi Govt. has still not been able to cleanse the Congi moles from various sections in the machinery. I can understand it takes time but I can't see any visible progress or hoopola by Congis if their moles are being removed. Heard that they have their mole at the top in Rajya Sabha TV etc. for example.
  • Dismantle Congi eco-system at the earnest. You have a Congi President of India, at the top who's a very shrewd player... Start planning a 'suitable' replacement soon. I'm afraid the way BJP doing it's business, they might even settle for another 'secular' President next which will be a disaster.

There are so many other points...

Asterix Bhau, you are talking about things in black and white. There are skeletons in everybody's cupboards, you cannot just set about dismantling the system right away.

Besides what you have mentioned is rather undemocratic. No, this is a big ecosystem which even the most powerful cannot afford to rock immediately.

Trust in M , he keeps his friends close but his enemies closer.

Congress has been in power for 60 years so they have deep-rooted assets. MSM is not the real issue, especially English media as they have a very limited space. Even local Bihar channels get more coverage than NDTV. BJP needs to address the root source and obviously, many are foreign organizations. There are several so called NGOs who contribute into the anti-India agenda and the government certainly has questioned them. It's a good start, it will take time.

Another prospective, I feel Modi- supporters need to more vocal especially eminent people. Currently, our intellectual space is dominated by anti-Modi brigade and thus, it's important for the another side to be vocal in showing the other prospective. In India, clearly who shout the loudest is seen right and wins the argument, and currently there is a large anti-Modi brigade on top there. It's stated 70% of Bollywood is pro-Modi so they really need to counter such propaganda.

If it's like a one time event, it's gonna a total waste. They need to take the fight each day, in the news studios, in the public space, and in SM.

Agree... The other day Minakshi Lekhi mentioned about ED notice to SRK related Sharda scam... These type of things needs to be mentioned more and by all the BJP spokespersons... If you've apologetic people like Javdekar then you'll have issues...

in your first para you said not to take MSM seriously and in the next para you complain about MSM. The fact is you can't ignore MSM because Global Investors/Govts. follow MSM and make their views about India... For example, I'm hearing the news that during Modi's upcoming visit to UK, PM Cameron will discuss the case of Minorities and also the Sikh scripture desecration issues. Now Cameron might be planning to play to his local galleries but MSM has managed to create an impression that the current Indian Govt. is "intolerant" and needs to be reined in before doing further dealings.

What's BJP been doing to counter the media narrative? If it cares about India's & Modi's image, it''l be foolhardy to think countering them using state owned media like DD...

On top of it you have a stupid organisation like RSS (which will do anything to undermine Modi & his team) to fall back on.

It was a throw away comment from Phillip Hammond (the defence minister)  which our over the top media has clutch onto. You cant get more diplomatic than this....

“...I am sure Prime Minister Cameron will want to ask about some of the issues mentioned [Moody’s India Outlook: Searching for Potential report] because they are clearly relevant to Prime Minister Modi’s plans for the development of the Indian economy and the opening of India to the outside world and the securing of India’s sustainable development,”

So if Shah Rukh Khan gets an ED notice, he'll start badmouthing the ones who issued it so they can take even more stringent actions. Waah re Sanghi logic!

If I understand this man correctly, he personally doesn't like the vindictive approach to governance. So do not expect him to dig out any skeleton and as Yoda mentioned, that no closet is free of skeletons. It will be a frenzy of allegations and mud sledging from all the sides. What Modi is looking for is clear majority in RS. He has given that responsibility to Amit Shah. Shah wanted some freehand and autonomy as he likes to do things in his own ways. But otherwise, Modi, Jaitley, Swaraj, Gadkari, Goyal, Prabhu and Irani are very focused on their portfolios and you don't hear them in any controversy. Only MSM hype with few issues. VK Singh, Swaraj, Irani, Jaitley, and few others have carefully dodged out of controversies. They are the ones who will give perception to people not the likes of 2nd, 3rd and 4th string leaders who are creating more controversies.

Action will be taken whether he bad mouths or not and he knows that... The advantage of being a minority in India is that he can always say that he is being targeted by an Intolerant govt just because he's a Muslim... That's the SOP...

He's is know to play victim card, everybody knows that... The guy blames others as intolerant but himself got banned from entering a venue in Mumbai during IPL... He played his victim card then too... He'll play his victim card in future too if it comes to notice that his company was also involved in Sharda scam...

There's no Sanghi logic here.. All you've to do is to take off your green shades to see the picture in actual colours...

Dr. Manmohan Singh says govt policy can't be based on religion. Was it same guy who said Muslims have first right on nation's resources?

and regardless of what happens in Bihar (i will be sad if BJP dont win) the BJP is slowly becoming a force all over India. In maharashtra as well in kalyan they went from 9 to 42. In Kohlapur they went from 3 to 12. The signs are good that BJP is spreading its wings all through the country.

The local unit in UP needs looking after though. The gram panchayat results there were pathetic. As much as i want the BJP to spread its wings everywhere, the population and political prominence of UP means it needs to become the BJP's first priority. There are major concerns that local BJP leaders in UP is not good enough

So the Delhi template of BJP vs the rest, Modi vs the rest is the present and future strategy against BJP. This 2 party race, will mean BJP will emerge as the single largest politically party nationally but they will lose elections against a pre-poll alliances of the rest of parties.

Imo, 2 parties race will cause defeats for BJP in short run but long run, BJP will gain. This is a good model as the castist, fraud secular games will be out in-open and BJP will gain in long run.

But for short terms targets like UP 2017 & LS2019, they look very hard and clearly, they clearly need some new short term strategy
