This aus team is good for sure. But unlike 2003 and 2007 other teams are more closer or even better than aus. A batting lineup of de kock, amla, kallis, abdv, du plessis, dumini and miller look more dangerous. Even eng had a better batting lineup prior to lossing kp and trot.

Ok? No one is saying Australia is going to run away with it. People including myself are aware that Sri Lanka, New Zealand, India, South Africa and Pakistan can win as well. Australia are just the favourites because they are the top side in ODIs at the moment.

I think subcontinent team with the exception of Ind will struggle to make enough runs and with the exception of pak will struggle to get quick wickets. BD will not do as well as Ind/Pak but wont be the worst team..will afgans play ?

Our bowlers have to step up big time. We reached finals of 2003, won CT2013 based on some great bowling performances.

Those are grounds where you have to score lot of singles and twos. That is where India might edge out other subcontinent sides. But they won't stand well against Aussies on those pitches.
