ganeshran Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Amma will be receptive as well i think.Wont even have much demands as in the past BJP alone has simple majorityCould easily placate her with couple of minor ministries. Not sure about Mamta Amma won't join the alliance. She doesn't believe in alliances unless they are necessary for survival. Might still vote with the government on bills. Even in TN when she got majority, she was quick to ditch allies.
BeautifulGame Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 2/3 majority of a joint session. (I read somewhere) I'm sure' date=' if [b']Jaya/Patnaik are offered something , they would not have a problem voting with BJP on issues. So I don't see getting enough votes as a problem at the moment. (assuming NDA get ~330-340) It was farcical .One ADMK leader said they would be receptive to join BJP on 13th and was dismissed from the party on 14th
Rotating Potato Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Stop there a bit. Only a moron would not vote for a performing local leader in favor of a promising but unproven one. Jaya, for all the perception, is a fantastic leader. She has a bit of vision for TN. Unlike the ****ing dmk. It's completely understandable why they voted for Jaya. The worst state is kerala.. Who just sent back sasi Tharoor And they have supposedly literacy rate > 90 pc. Also if jaya is so good regionally, then elect her in assembly polls. .
surajmal Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 It was farcical .One ADMK leader said they would be receptive to join BJP on 13th and was dismissed from the party on 14th May not be position in the cabinet. But at the time of a particular vote, perhaps, a package of some sort.
Tiger80 Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 What rubbish? Loksabha MPs are representatives of their constituencies. If I have able leaders who understands issues of my constituency well and can present it at the national level' date= why should I choose some Outsider to do that? It shouldn't matter what the leader of the party think about herself in the long term, that's her wish. At the moment, she is doing great governing tamil nedu, and so votes went for her and her party. Kerala issue is very clear. Hindus who number to 35 % of population is extremely fragmented, and chunk of their votes go to the left parties. Christian and Muslim votes almost always stay with UDF. However interestingly these Hindus votes are now consolidating in favor of BJP. Best example is the capital where the BJP guy gave a run for the UDF candidates money. It was so close that till the very end, nobody could predict. Also bjp lacks any sort of leadership in Kerala. They need to unearth good leaders, install good candidates and results will follow. Yes , but don't you want your representative to be part of National govt , if yes then why to vote for party who will hardly join a govt or who will become reason for destabllizing national govt
G_B_ Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 No way should Jaitley contest from Vadodara. I think Amit Shah could be asked. Jaitley can be leader of the House in Rajya Sabha and be the Finance Min. As a minister he can attend the Lok Sabha anytime he likes.... i was against him contesting anyways. He reminds me of Mahajan. Capable but no mass leader. But now h has gone down that road its time for him to gain a degree of legitimasy. Otherwise people are not going to respect him. Amit shah should not be contesting. Move him from Uttar PRadesh and Maharashtra. He should become the chief strategist of the BJP
Detonator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Its just pissing that Anbumani have won from Dharmapuri. One more rout in this election could have ended PMK. Vanniyar vote bank + weak ADMK candidate. Salem Vanniyars no longer support PMK.
Tiger80 Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Why should she form an alliance when she can win this big alone? TN has been better than most states despite thinking locally. What is the state of UP despite sending 4 or 5 PMs? All that matters what ur election agenda is.As long as its development it doesnt matter she is thinking Locally or nationally To be part of national govt .Even Akali's just give 3 seats to BJP
Yoda-esque Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Guha and Jha really made me laugh today, saare expose hou gaye
ganeshran Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I think Amit Shah will be given home. No way Modi is going to give Home or Defense to Sushma
Detonator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 44 for congress, 57 for UPA. If Amma and Didi join hands, they can become opposition. :D Modi vs ladies
Tiger80 Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 BTW despite doing all good work the people of Bihar has slapped Nitish kumar for his arrogance
game_changerr Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 close fight between sehnawaj hussain and rjd candidate
SLICKR392 Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 44 for congress, 57 for UPA. If Amma and Didi join hands, they can become opposition. :D Modi vs ladies And Amma as the opposition leader. Lol!
G_B_ Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 44 for congress, 57 for UPA. If Amma and Didi join hands, they can become opposition. :D Modi vs ladies they should. call it AIAMOOL
BeautifulGame Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Vanniyar vote bank + weak ADMK candidate. Salem Vanniyars no longer support PMK. Its mainly becoz of the riots that vanniyars in Dharmapuri has polarized towards PMK. They left PMK in Dharmapuri too during the assembly elections earlier. Wont be surprised if PMK tries these tactics more parts of western TN like Chidambaram , Salem etc.Thats why its not good for TN
Sachin=GOD Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I think Amit Shah will be given home. No way Modi is going to give Home or Defense to Sushma I think Amit Shah is too junior for Home. Rajnath might get Home if he gives up Presidency. Sushma might get Foreign if she gets one of top 4.
