UP, Maharashtra, Bihar Rajasthan Guj have basically voted the BJP/NDA into power. these 6 states i think make up about 200 plus of the NDA. The cabinet needs to reflect this But other states too have to be won at some point of time. Bjp has done good in Bengal also. They are no. 2 on many seats. And Bengalis are very sensitive about their representation.

What we have seen today is that Modi made Congress an "untouchable". Any party that has been associated with them in the recent past has got equally wiped away.... BSP (outside support), SP (outside support, cash for votes), JKNC, DMK - all have got wiped out completely! Contrast that with parties associated to BJP now - Ram Vilas Paswan's LJP which had no elected representative in LS and not even in Bihar assembly now has 6 MPs from 7 seats contested. Chandrababu Naidu has made a big comeback.
