ganeshran Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Anyway we might not even have fresh elections in Delhi because news reports suggest that AAP might be looking at forming the Govt again... Nope, they have asked for re-elections for a fresh mandate.

G_B_ Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 they just got thumped in the lok sabha elections. Wasnt that enough of a signal? I looked at the margin of victories for the BJP ans every seat was comfortably won. what a dramebaaz party.

We are discussing the possibility of holding public interactions during which we could ask them if they want a re-election in another six months or for AAP for form the government again," said a senior member of the political advisory committee (PAC), the highest decision-making body of AAP, who spoke to on the condition of anonymity. :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical:

After seeing BJP candidates being first in 60 out of 70 Assembly seats in the Lok Saha elections it is obvious that many AAP MLAs would want to again form the Govt with Cong support rather than go for re-election.

AAP has themselves said they want a fresh mandate, the newspaper report quotes an anonymous source and we all know how true they are. Congress has ruled out support. There is no question of forming a government even if they wanted to.

adi B Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 i think re-elections is the best option right now for delhi.if bjp wins,i would like smriti irani to be the CM candidate, harshvardhan too aint bad,he has a good political image. dont know whether aap will repeat their stellar performance but at least this'll make them realise that leaving delhi was a wrong decision and they might now concentrate on ground issues of the capital. kejriwal as the leader of opposition in delhi VS will be good for the capital as it'll keep a check on the ruling party's work, add to that the weekly dose of entertainment
coffee_rules Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Why Not? People take sabbaticals. They wanted one for LS polls. Now, they can take the Delhi jimmewaari once again. What are the chances of them not getting slapped if they go to people to ask about reforming the govt?
