Rohit has also stuck with Harbhajjan despite him failing last year. Rohit had no other option but to juggle the XI throughout the season after the UAE debacle. Recent flaws of his is sticking with Ojha and sitting like a duck when Suyal was getting tonked around. I have no clue; what's the big deal about Rohit's captaincy?

IIRC, on ICF, the MI fans were asking for his head after failing in 2-3 games. Hell! Asterix went nuts after he was retained by MI. Why don't you answer the rest? +100. If anyone who is still not able to keep his place certain even after gazillion chances that is him. Bowlers get dropped almost immediately after 1 or 2 poor outings except Ishant. Batsman like Rohti sharma keep getting chances while guys like Tiwary, Uthappa don't get any breaks.

How? You yourself said Kohli did well to defend those targets in Asia Cup. Posts should be there in the match thread I think. Team selection has been a flaw for both Rohit and Kohli.

Starc hasn't been consistent and the batting for RCB's been terribly inconsistent. For some reason every team picks Dinda when he plays for them, only to see them at the bottom of the table. :cantstop:

Only towards the later part he had developed tiff with Gauti, Viru. But mostly he led guys like Dravid, Tendulkar, Ganguly, Laxman, Gambhir, Viru, Yuvraj without much problem. Kohli is a hot blooded guy. So is Gauti. They react too quick which can destabilize your team. So far Kohli has not displayed that trait while leading India. Probably he will learn like a good student

So far when he leads India he is slightly saner. I think in an IPL scenario he has some restrictions. He is not matured like Dhoni to lead players who are bigger than him. The tri series in Windies and Asia Cup, not considering Zimbabwe where even Unadkat picked a 4fer. Kohli of last year is more matured than the one leading this time around, and looks more composed and focused while leading India. Vinnie had to calm him down when Kohli had a go at him last year, but this time around he was brooding around and calming Dinda or Aaron down when they were getting carted away. I have no clue how Geebz compared him to Dhawan's captiancy. Because Dhawan is a very, very bad captain.

That's been a norm in Indian cricket. Has been there since Ganguly, which is not good but basically all our captains have it.

i somehow doubt it. I dont think Mallya was too keen with Yuvi. @Slickr Dhawan maybe a **** captain but he has not shown it at all. Neither has Rohit thus far. Granted a degree of nepotism fair enough. Not to this degree.

You can load the team with Takawale, Pappu and others and it will be like a backyard T20 game :cantstop:
