Giving chances to domestic performers. Good to see the likes of Pujara, Uthappa, Jadhav get a chance. No place for Karun Nair. Wow, Akshar Patel also gets a chance. Rarely does a youngster get a chance after the first season. Appears to be a bit like Jadeja. Had a good domestic season and IPL.

I don't care much about the BD series anyway. Its good they rested most of the first choice players and gave youngsters a go. Squad for England series looks decent but not sold on Gambhir as third opener.

He was rightly dropped from Asia Cup after his horrendous run. Don't mind him in the XI, but someone else should have led this team.
