Anyway, Raina has led India before and has done well. Besides, he is one of our best players in ODIs (his recent form notwithstanding) so he was the obvious choice. Pujara will have his chances but not now. He is a better Test player so until he proves that he can be a pretty good ODI bat as well, I wouldn't rush into making him the Captain.

Raina usually doesn't perform when he leads the side. Remember that WI ODI series? His captaincy was decent, but never performed. Its a pointless series anyhow, lets see how it goes.

Bangladesh team looks good. I was expecting chahal over patel considering the need for a wrist spinner in WC. But patel's FC record is too good compared against chahal. karun nair, samson and bumrah have age on their side and they will definitely get into the national side very soon. Test team as well looks good. So happy for pankaj singh. Now its up to him to prove himself at international level. I would have loved to see umesh over varun as umesh is more test material than varun. but nothing much to debate over that as well as both are express bowlers with less control. Finally lets not grey our hair for the frustration over binnys selction in test team. Dhoni is never going to play him anyways. So its fine.
