Khalpat Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 What''s this OROP issue. Why Modi Govt. is dilly-dallying on it when Modi made promises during elections? I hope he announces something on this issue, tomorrow. Can't allow opposition to cash in on these issues which involves Ex-Servicemen. Pagla gaya hain kya Modi? Whoever in Ministry of Finance is delaying it over "arithmetic" is damaging BJP.
Khalpat Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Its good to see Arvind and Rahul on the same page on this issue and really appreciate their genine concern for Army Man. oops, the reality on Twitter might be a bit different.
asterix Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 If BJP takes any final decision, it shouldn't wait for a Grand Event where' Modi will announce as opposition parties. especially Pappu could take credit of 'pressurising' Modi to accept the demands... If any grand announcement of Modi is planned, it's judicious to send a representative before opposition leaders cash in. These BJP guys, don't know how to 'govern' at centre... I mean the Gov't is doing very well but it's losing the perception battle very early.
asterix Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 I think OROP will be announced tomorrow. In all probability, yes. If not it'll be  Even the opposition leaders too know this hence they are taking time out to meet the protesters so that if there's any announcement, they can take the credit of 'forcing the Govt.' to accept the demands... Chewt BJP managers... I hope they'd sent somebody like Rajyawardhan Rathod to meet the protesting veterans beforehand... See Modi waits to make grand announcements but doesn't necessarily wins the perception battle...
Sachin=GOD Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Its good to see Arvind and Rahul on the same page on this issue and really appreciate their genine concern for Army Man. oops, the reality on Twitter might be a bit different. Funny thing is that for the last month when parliament was in session the Cong never mentioned OROP and wasted the entire session on LaMo. Now that they think it will be announced tomorrow they are suddenly its biggest sympathizers.

Yeah.... this Govt losing the perception battle on many issues is certainly the biggest surprise in the last one year.
asterix Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Yeah.... this Govt losing the perception battle on many issues is certainly the biggest surprise in the last one year. Why the issue was dragged so long? Why it came to situation that veterans had to sit on dharna at Jantar Mantar and demand President's intervention? BJP shouldn't announce and give in to their demands if they've allowed them to protest so long and made such a big issue that opposition leaders now cashing on it...

In the NDA, ideation is restricted between a narrow arc that begins at Vivekananda Foundation and ends with the India Foundation. So in the NDA , ideation & perhaps even policy formulation has been outsourced to 2 secretive and Unaccountable NGO's/PR and Lobbying firms . Vivekananda foundation is run Jems Baand (Ajit doval ) Senior and India Foundation is run by Junior who also manages money for Saudi Sheikh's. :hmmm:
amiret Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 ^ The PM's sudden trip to the UAE takes many by surprise . Suhasini Haider's article in the Hindu : the Ministry of External Affairs said the PM would visit Abu Dhabi and Dubai on August 16-17 and meet with the Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and Dubai Ruler and PM of UAE Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. PM Modi's visit to the UAE, announced on Tuesday, has caught many within the government as well as organisers in Dubai by surprise, and set off speculation for the reason for the suddenly announced trip The decision has left many wondering on whether there is a "big ticket" announcement expected to be made on either investments or on security cooperation. .... Other experts have also suggested that the PM's trip to the Arab world was a "balancing act" ahead of his planned visit to Israel. However, neither explanation would cover the need for the urgency of the current visit. So what could explain modi's SUDDEN urgency to meet with Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum ? Does India Foundation require a new round of "funding " before the next spate of assembly elections ? :hmmm:
