Some interesting comments in a newspaper site An Embarassed Paki:

we were just boarding our flight from abudhabi to karachi, where along me and most of passengers were flying from chicago USA, trust me it was so shamfull the crew members from eithed airways and other international carriers were like this country is not safe to travel, i m very much upset, first we were so tired coz almost had 20 hours of flying and when this news came it was sone pe sohaga, i m so ashamed, as international traveller we face a lot of such problems, when u travel to europe and states these days on our passport you will come to know how we are treated, i m very willingly planning to move permanently to USA coz this nation is just about pain and sorrows and i wonder when will the good news come????? i wonder??????????
Sane Pakis:
As long as we are stuck in the debate of good taliban and bad taliban we will see these incidents...only good taliban is a bad taliban!...pak army has to kill them all and any one who sympathises with them!
Wow I am astounded at some of the comments made by my country men. Please stop with the so called patriotism. Blaming issues on India or foreign forces for every single thing will never solve pakistans problem. We Pakistanis need to get this through our skulls that the entire world is not against us. They are not spending their time planning the downfall of Pakistan. It is the us Pakistanis who are responsible for it. We all need to man up and take the blame and responsibility of our nation's hapless condition. Secondly we should stop living in the fairy tale that Allah will help us. Allah only helps those who help themselves. We should start seeing the problems through a realistic point of view and first admit that we ourselves are the architects of our nation's conditions.?
And of course they have their more than fair share of Zaid Hamid's followers, unfortunately happens to be quite a few:
This is being funded and organized by India and Afghanistan. If this is had occurred in India, they would be blaming Pakistan, after the first shot was fired. Over here we blame our government for not having proper security and our Army. Yet is the Army and the Security forces that our giving up their lives fighting this. Wake up and unite, this is India and RAW doing this here and all over Pakistan.
It seems like the Raw and foriegn agencies have become Angels and if there is any terrorist attack in Pakistan and in any corner. IT MUST BE TALIBAN or SUCH GROUPS. Where are these guys getting all these Automatic machine guns and stuff??? Why not investigate the Indian role in Afghanistan? How did they jump to a conclusion on 26/11. Isnt this 8/6 for Pakistan? WHy are we soo KIND and Blindfolded when it comes to INDIAN terrorists??
Nothing can be more heartening than that all the ten terrorists have been dispatched to hell. It was no surprise that the ammunition they used was Indian-made. Blood boils in veins at Pakistan government's apologetic stance towards India at her recurring provocative and aggressive activities in Pakistan.

They think we are like them :hysterical: BTW I like the fact that even Hameed mia is also scared of Modi, he expects Modi to give it back in kind which was never expected from Indian PMs before.

This is why civilian democracy will never work in Pakistan. They need the army to control the situation in Pakistan and that's why they wield so much power. Otherwise, Taliban would have taken over Pak a long time ago.

Or do you expect politicians to wield guns and control the situation. ? Or m I misunderstanding something?

They not just control situations but they wield a lot more power and basically run the country. Pak has never been a functioning democracy on a consistent basis. Their history has been filled with military coups where army has overthrown the political leadership. ISI and Army get up to all kinds of shenanigans in their own country and neighboring countries and thereby plunge them into all kinds of crisis and isolate them from neighbors and the political leadership can do nothing to stop them. I read someone say most countries have an army but in Pakistan's case, ISI and Army have a country. Its very much true.

The problem is that the politicians are not willing to do thre job ... They are in 90's Era mood .... They think that they will rule 2-3 years and make dirty money and thn run away .... like what they did in 90's ..... in last 6 years of Democrazy rule no one is willing to make tough decisions Including (PPP & PML-N) Govts. .... for Example: SWAT Operation ... It was a Successful Operation from PAK Army .... But after the Operation the Govt wasnt ready to take Control in thre hands .... Politicians just want Pak Army to do Job for them .... ISI warned the Govt about attacks but they are afraid to do thre jobs .... It was the job of Police and ASF to Secure the Airport not the SSG Commandos .... But Police were busy to give protocol to these Sh1t Heads and thre Families .... Politicians just want to Sit on thre Thrones and make dirty money .... Thats it .... they are afraid with talibans .... Bunch of Cowards ...

They attacked again? :WTF: How frigging weak are their security?
what has security to do with it? They are fidayeens and will attack no matter what the security is. Security must be good, the reason they prevented it from becoming 26/11 kind of thing.

Boss.. you dont know how it works... when you have suicide bombers/attackers all over the place, there is hardly anything security personnel can do.

I thought they wiped out all the terrorist inside after the first breach.
They Did ... i have posted the Pics ... but in the morning they attacked again from the Outside .... 3 to 4 terrorists fired Outside of ASF Camp, ran away. No breach of fence,no Entry. Chase is on and situation under control. Means they attacked from Outside of the Airport ....
