Ronaldo wasn't "fine tuned" for the matches (no training) and had no chemistry with the team (not much time in practice matches in lead up) Even still he created chances for himself, got into good positions but missed a couple chances cause he wasn't in great touch and had missed plenty of training sessions in lead up.
