Here is another video of Honey Pratap Singh  U19 Rajasthan.

 

Looks very tall, hit the deck, quick, gets steep bounce.

 

Needs a bit more refinement in his action.

.... Perfect lines.

.... Varying his lengths.

.... Good pace and steep bounce.

.... 2 vicious bumpers

.... 2 cracking yorkers 

.... 2 top of off stump directed indippers.

 

Young, Tall and Quick Indian fast bowlers like Gurnoor, Mayank, Prasidh, Ashok, Harshit, Tyagi, Tarmale etc. should study his bowling.

 

....  How he is mixing his lengths while bowling an impeccable off stump line.

 

....  Not bowling too many short balls or too few short balls ( but bowling sufficient and sudden short balls as surprise ).  

 

.... Bowling sudden yorkers too after his short balls. 

 

....  Always attacking either the stumps or the body. No balls can be left and no width on offer. Nothing on the leg either.

 

....  And bowling at full pace.

 

No wonder he averaged 20.x in test matches.

Bumrah, Cummins, Starc, Archer, Rabada ... all recent greats have had one or more. Cummins had atleast 5.

 

BTW read that Ashok is getting treated by Bumrah's doctor in NZ and he is supposed to be the best regarding spine injury.

Varun Aaron too had stress fracture ,about same age

up to 8 back stress fractures recurrently through his early twenties up until about age 24–25

Didn't eefect his pace or action much ,he had different fitness issues thereafter

Based on highlights- Mayank has been expensive with eco of 10+ and regards to pace seen couple of 149 and few 147 kmph not seen 150+ kmph

 

** Dplt20- 10 or more eco is usual for bowlers in that league.

 

Money Grewal is the highest wkt taker rt now, good swing and ability to surprise with extra bounce bowling high 135-141 kmph , last season as well he was highest wkt taker
