Like a bowler who could not hit but and hang around with a batter on other end can play and be preferred in Tests. A team these days can not afford more than 1 non-batting bowler in white-ball. Ind has dragged themselves to a situation where team does not have a leg-spinner in wc side and even when if they are picked in WC that spinner cannot make it into playing 11. Yes batters have to bowl well as well. But a team these days needs to bat till 8. White-ball is v.high risk

I like Rahul Chahar, he has tremendous potential and unlike his cousin he is someone who takes his cricket seriously. He should also be around the white ball team alongside Sundar, Axar, Bishnoi & Kuldeep (though I would like to see Kuldeep as a long format bowler).

I saw his bowling yesterday and he lacks control, pace is also not that quick. Shubham Garhwal smashed him for six by stepping down of the pitch. There was another left arm pacer "Rishabh something" from Jodhpur team who also has a round arm action and was bowling yorkers and back of hand slower bowls in death.

We need suitable pitches as well, otherwise it's a pie in the sky. To encourage athletic bowlers we need pitches that dont turn at all ,otherwise on slow turners finger spinners are the best .

Absolutely tge premium bowlers will be a mix of pace and soinners depending upon the conditions/pitch..additionally AR is there to provide decent balance in such scenarios Edited September 8, 2023 by Need4Speed

singhvivek141 Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 (edited) Kartik Tyagi needs to improve the control on his line..he is bowling quick but in every game he is giving more than 9 per over on an average. Yesterday as well, he was surely bowling 145+ but he is somehow not able to control his line as he is giving lot of width. Though he has good control in death overs, bowled a fast yorker to get a wicket..but I think he has talent to demolish any batting order. Though, I must say that he is now looking in good rhythm and is bowling super quick. I dont think anyone in the UPT20 is even remotely close to him in term of sheer pace. Some deliveries even felt like in 148-150 range. Edited September 10, 2023 by singhvivek141 express bowling and Mosher 2
singhvivek141 Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 @rkt.india Atal Bihari Rai from Kashi Rudras is quite tall, in the highlights he seemed to me like a trundler but do you know more about him ? Kunal Yadav doesn't seem very quick, he has a quick arm action by I don't think he will be more than 135...could be wrong though.

Who, Kartik ? I only saw the highlights and his deliveries looked day & light quicker than rest. The Yorker was a sure shot 90mph +... One thing I like that he makes the commentators talk about his pace. Every commentator is saying that he is fast and batters are late to play him. express bowling 1
