Atleast conducive pitches will make our pacers better and perform consistently overseas which has been the case for last 5-6 years

Laying dustbowls and spin havens have only made our spinners toothless in borderline alien conditions

So better investing on conditions which will bear more fruits in the longer run

Make it Australian style pitches bounce and pace,not banana swinging ones either (well that is climate dependent though)that spoils pacers and  and helps Sakariya,Mukesha types

Without it our pacers will stagnate.

Need drop in pitches. Otherwise weather doesnt allow such pitches with pace and bounce.

Asia cup (the non India wickets) offered some swing to the quicks upfront. Someone like Starc would run through the opposition in such conditions. Our pacers bowled well too. 
 

A pitch can be high scoring even if it’s slow and low bounce. A good spinner who relies more on skill and deception may still end up doing well. But pathetic for the faster men.

 

But yes, if they to choose between dust bowls and fast bowling Graveyards but high scoring, I probably get it why they would go for the latter in a World Cup tournament. Much more entertaining if they produce quick tracks that offer good bounce.

Sl pitches are mostly sluggish,even today's pitch is slow whereas yesterday's one was coming onto the bat atleast under the lights and possibly because of dew as well.

Yes this one seems to be more sluggish although their one quick Meekeren was able to get some bounce initially when he bowled quick.

Yesterdays was a pitch that had no inconsistency in the bounce but slow and no swing/seam too. Pitches in Aus are probably the most exciting to watch. The ones in England are also high scoring too but offer something to the fast bowlers at least. SA pitches have got too batting friendly in recent times.
