Yes pace is not the only reason I suggested..he looks quality to me at such young age..

Arshdeep looks so ordinary. Bowls at 132-135k. Only interesting thing is that 40 degree run up lol.

He ends up taking some cheap wickets at the end though … mostly.

Have noted this as well.

First thought maybe he is bowling slower due to grippy nature of the pitch..but hope he is not hiding a niggle.

So many state t20 leagues, not even a single leg-spinner playing, teams are playing multiple left arm slow bowlers.

 

Think this is where bcci can instruct to give chances to mystery/ leg spinners and ind fringe player like Patidar, Mukesh choudhary , V.Iyer etc. to try out and work on  secondary skills too.

If Bumrah is even 75 percent fit, that takes away his effectiveness by 50 percent against stronger teams. We haven’t even played England Australia and SA yet. 
He needs to be in a state where he can bowl 3-4 deliveries at 145k plus in an over with accuracy.

Besides him, the entire fast bowling line up is a f joke. I’d even take a couple of fast bowlers from minnow teams over them.

The way Naveen bowled Head...was a perfect swing delivery. Absolute peace.

Archer 148k 146k in his first over. Batsman was super late and top edges for a six.

Great thing is that players after injuries can recover and be their best. 

Medical advancement is helping

 

Don't think Archer will ever be able to sustain pace for tests. He isn't built for tests but for t20 and odi he is world class

I’m losing interest in this team. It’s only gonna come back once guys like Mayank Harshit are in the team.
