Akashdeep has not bowled for a while. it's just been DSP, bumrah, Jadeja. quite ridiculous.

Akashdeep is back.

Though I believe he isnt gonna be part of 5th test, unless he does some miracle with the bat.

All in all a poor match for him...not a single shade of luck and is now leaking runs.

Akashdeep has been disappointing in this series, nothing like what we saw in his debut test. 

That's why it was necessary to play him that other match to after debut, the decisions and choices made by TM have been baffling.

 

Ashwin goes to Aus plays 1 match and retires then what was the point of carrying him. News says Rohit may also retire, he didnt play the 1st match, selectors could have talked to him there and should have asked that we are looking beyond him now.

 

Ind may win/lose/draw this series but it has exposed all the aspects of Ind cricketing structure- There is no proper communication between the selectors, TM and players about their future plans, there is no seasoned fast bowler in domestic levels who can be picked and trusted in the eleven or even in 15, there are no tall fast bowlers in Ind.

There is no bench of fast bowlers. Senior batters are just dead weight in the side batting can nt be trusted at all. 

There is no second wkt-keeper in the side, are they seriously looking at KL as second wkt-keeper who prior this series was nt even a first in playing 11 or some may say even in 15.

 

Amongst fast bowler Pradish has not played for a long time, rana was making his debut,   akash deep may be playing his 2/3rd game. 

KL and reddy are amongst highest run scorers for Ind when there were concerns on why they are even picked

Because he is on his last legs, he has never looked to the future and just tried for temporary solutions for current match / series.
