They should first play sen

Thakur seems more talented. Sen can only bowl in middle overs

Think the hawkeye was not working correctly in kkr vs srh match, but in that over arora bowled multiple balls in early 140s per hawk eye

MI missing a strike bowler. Good to see Akashdeep return.Even tough speeds weren't great.

Agreed MI talent scouts are doing great job.But in auction they should have targetted a Strike bowler

He helped Ishant Sharma to bowl 140s again.

“I’ve seen Mayank Yadav bowl, he’s got talent. Umar Malik has got talent. Kartik Tyagi has got talent. Akash Singh has got talent. Kuldeep Sen has got talent. These guys bowl fast, but where are they now?” Jones asks.

What was mayanks fastest delivery today

142.7 kmph, not really fast. Bowled alot of slower ones by the 3rd over was down to 135 kmph.

Just getting back into cricket after some time so may be taking some time to reach his top speeds,  but do not have high hope because of his personal attitude and then add zak as the bowling coach

Mayank must consider retirement with this looser meek coward attitude

This is the result of the system, this is what happens when low potential players gets the intnl caps and prefered over high potential players.

How bad a system has to be for bowler like thakur, deshpandey, sakaria, etc to get intnl caps when they are neither fast nor they are tall, how many cracks they slipped through ???  The only thing that can be said for sure is that fast bowlers have to be tall and fast and Ind selection/system just goes opposite of it. Most of the thing in cricket has many constraints attached to it but a prototype of a fast-bowler has been accepted everywhere is to be fast and tall.

Do not think there is any other team apart frm Ind where so many fast bowlers are given intnl caps who does nt have anything special or x-factor to be in intnl side.

How will India pick him, he gets broken into two pieces every time he plays.

Its in the genes, he is a weak person.

not asking to pick him or some1 else just talking about the broken system where nca's best option to fix a bowler is to cut the pace and bowlers' attitude that its ok to bowl at lower pace as the other competition is not that high.

And how system is preferring attributes which are opposite or general norms

Deshpande and Sakaria have played a couple of matches for India, thats it.

Thakur has won us many matches in test cricket , he is more of an allrounder .

But how can such bowlers be selected for Ind cap?? and how come they slipped through all the systems. As mentioned above no1 for sure can say what is good prototype fr a good batter, or a spinner do they have to be tall or not that tht tall there are many constraints there.

But only thing that can be said for sure that a fast bowler needs to be tall and bowl fast to be a good fast bowler.

Would not call thakur an allrounder he is kind bowler kind kind of knows how to hold bat. The problem here is again the system that we are seeing someone like thakur as an allrounder.

cricket is the only and most popular sports with more tan 25 teams playing highest level of domestic cricket and still ind is nt getting rt with bowling then there should be something wrong.

its not about players , it upto system to make sure r=they get it right. the tallest bowlers in ind are opting as spinners why ???
