I wont be surprised if Tom clocks even faster on the speed gun. Some of his deliveries just skids through off the pitch which hurries the batters.

Nidheesh mostly bowls in late 120s to mid 130s...this is based on the speeds he has clocked under the speedometer in SMAT couple of years back (where Mayank and Tyagi both clocked 150+).

Think speedometer in domestic have been alright for couple of seasons now, it was not how it use to give any random number like a seamer bowling 110-118 kmph.

Even the speed readings are good in those local t20 tournament now.

Nidhesj in this match was cloking 131-137/kmph and Tom looked significantly faster, yes there can be gain of 2-4 kmph in t20 format.

Ashok Sharma in this debut season has been stepping up well.

Picking up 2-3 wkts in almost every inns.

Thankfully Rajasthan in this season has got rid of Khaleel, Tanveer Ul Haq, Deepak Chahar and other trundlers.

Aniket is another one who is a lost case, could have been replaced by someone younger...Rajasthan do have fast bowlers who can lit speedometer on fire.

Khalel is with Ind-A hence Ashok is getting the games. Think RR is also backing him.

Yes raj has/had some faster bowler but they find it hard to get an IPL contract, there are other team and bowlers too who has this issue

Nowadays we have tall, hit the deck, 140 k+ pacers like Harshit, Prasidh and Gurnoor playing for India or India A.

Like it a lot.

But we need the shorter, skiddy quick type pacer too. This is where Eden Apple Tom and Yash Thakur will come in.

Apple Tom has long levers maybe due to thin frame but it is what it is

Yeah, Eden gets more bounce for his height.

If we just look at the trajectory of the ball ( without looking at the bowler's height ), Eden's deliveries travel like a medium height quick pacer and not like a short one.
